I mean the inclinations of the soul, but to unpack that further we are talking about the things we love, hate, fear etc. that ultimately guides how we use our "will".The affections we are born with are sinfully twisted, the things we love, and hate are skewed and the things we fear also. They need to be reformed in a godly manner to make us fit subjects of God's kingdom.The soul with reformed affections seeks after God, loves God and His word. It is a soul that fears God and loves His holiness, enjoys His benevolence.May God grant us all a reformation of our affections, Amen.
