As part of the 20 year celebration of The Remarkable Podcast, I’m pleased to release Remark Reunion: Live in Orlando 1996 – 2026, recorded live in April. I started DJing in Orlando clubs 30 years ago and owe so much of my success and passion for the dance floor to this amazing city. To share this gratitude, I returned to Florida to get behind the decks at Iron Cow and fill their club with music spanning three decades of with my signature sound. So much great music, so many good vibes, so many old-school friends and faces, so many remarkable moments and memories. The night featured an evening of curated intense future sounds alongside original and reimagined Remarklassics. Now you too can relive the magic with the release of the mix, recorded live as we reunited and danced the night away.

In 2016, Remark presents Pet Shop Boys: Encomium 1986–2016 was released to celebrate 30 years of Pet Shop Boys. Recorded live in Edinburgh for the event Pet Shop Boys Symposium, the continuous DJ mix featured more than three hours of remixed hits spanning every album across their multi-decade career. Whilst many notable tracks were included, some significant favourites were inevitably missed. So in 2018 the duo’s remarkable catalogue was revisited and Encomium II debuted — packed with additional hits, rarities, remixes, and collaborations. Encomium I and II remain among the some of the most-listened-to mixes ever featured on Remark’s Soundcloud and The Remarkable Podcast. Fast forward to 2026 and we’re now celebrating 40 years of Pet Shop Boys’ contributions to music, art, pop, and the dance floor. Recently this most successful British pop duo of all time have been touring globally with their Dreamworld concert, and in April they’re performing an exclusive London event called Obscure, dedicated to rarities, exclusives, and B-sides. What better way to mark the occasion than releasing Remark presents Pet Shop Boys: Encomium III — featuring even more hits, remixed deep cuts, b-sides, and material from the years since the previous Encomium releases. This four-hour remarkable journey explores iconic tracks, obscure mixes, and a deep dive into the duo’s expansive four-decade catalogue. Originally released in autumn 2001 — right after the September 11th attacks on the United States and the subsequent invasion of Afghanistan — Remark Transmission was my creative reaction to the war on terrorism and intense global tension of the time. The mix concluded with a haunting track called “Outgoing Transmission (We Break Easy)” that sampled worrying news clips from those uncertain times.   Given the fascist hellscape we’re all living through now, I was inspired to revisit Transmission 25 years later and completely re-record and update the mix with samples from the current relentless news cycle we’re all suffering through daily. The rest of the mix is a driving, energetic, forceful progressive journey that channels intense emotion into euphoric release. Music is and continues to be my therapy and creation is the only way to combat destruction.   The 2001 version of Transmission was never uploaded to the Remarkable Podcast — in fact, it’s the only official Remark mix that’s missing from the archive. In 2021 and 2022, two Remark mixes were released to cope with years of lockdown: Annoconfinamento I and II were the creative culmination of navigating the challenges of the pandemic. These curated, intertwined, and intelligent progressive house mixes encapsulated an artistic response to an uncertain world.   As we close 2024, another remarkable response is required. The world continues to collapse — relentless wars, the climate catastrophe, unpredictable AI, and the end of America as state capture takes hold and a dictator dismantles democracy. Reacting to this year of disasters, a creation was born: Annodisastro. Although in the same euphonious realm as its predecessors, Annodisastro elevates the intensity to new heights. This progressive house journey inspires one to escape this chaotic world and fly free — surrounded by emotions, power, and layers of hope that only music can bring.    

The organic house music journey that started with the previous remarkable mix Dopo’ore is even further realised with this autumnal release, Sunstar. This mix takes emotion in some surprisingly positive directions, with lush layers and rhythms that paint an optimistic soundscape. Remark’s Sunstar explores the blurred hopeful boundaries of sunset to starlight to sunrise.   Five hours of meticulously curated tracks form a unified aural experience that can be enjoyed anytime of day. Pulsing bass lines, whispering high-hats, shades of colourful sound, and the joy of the occasional uplifting vocal mixed with the depth of a sexy instrumental — the Sunstar vibe certainly suits all flavours of the melodic house music spectrum.

Remark Dopo’ore was inspired by those magical after-hours moments. The golden glow of sunsets, the promising horizon of sunrises, the buzz of flowing cocktails after the long workday concludes, or the warmth you feel in the comfort of connected friends at an afterparty.   The mix hints at creative elements from 2022’s Annoconfinomento II, yet with less progressive flare. Dopo’ore brings together a collection of organic house tracks that mesh medleys and voluptuous vibes that flow over you and through you, feeding your aural desires.   A perfect accompaniment to any chilled moment, Remark Dopo’ore provides a soundtrack to all of your magic hours — no matter what time of day or where they occur.

In January 2021 I livestreamed a moody, minimal mix called “The Comedown”, and ever since I’ve been inspired to eventually make a full uninhibited soundscape that explored that deep, atmospheric sound fully. “Crossover” was borne out of this desire. Based upon another livestream from early 2023, “Crossover” reworks and remasters that original vision by layering even more tracks and sonic sensations. The opening preamble, spoken by my music goddess Tori Amos, acknowledges how we are so fortunate to be part of the universe’s infinite creativity. These words set the stage for the 3+ hour journey that wanders through atmospheres and slowly saunters through depth, tech, and dub. So put the headphones on, dive deep, and lose yourself in the boundless and endless creativity of the universe.

SURPRISE! 🏳️‍🌈 The Remarkable mix of the summer has arrived and it propels pride and unity to the forefront. This celebration of vocal house is filled with tracks that uplift, connect, and inspire joy — with that unmistakable euphoria of forever being on the dance floor. Curated for peak club hours, this mix is guaranteed to entertain the biggest of parties. There are new interpretations of tracks from the 70’s and 80’s intermingled with some of this year’s biggest pride anthems. The acronymic title ROYGBIV represents the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet) which glorifies the feeling of pride as LGBTQ+ communities continue to be repressed and attacked globally. So turn up this latest Remark mix to inject positivity and hope into this judgmental and divisive world.

There are so many signals vying for our attention during these tumultuous times. The relentless noise signals coming from all of the digital signals. The media divides with virtue signals whilst others call out distress signals. And everything points to alarming signals. Through the darkness and storms, I turn to my constant: getting lost in audio signals. It is within these armored musical frequencies that I find my foundation, my anchor. So soar through this carefully crafted, meticulously curated, 4+ hour progressive journey with me into sonic salvation.

Over a year in the making. Remark presents Annoconfinamento II. The highly anticipated sequel to part one released in the spring of 2021. Originally inspired by surviving the isolation in endless lockdowns, this mix continues the theme of combatting ideological confinement through creativity in a chaotic, foreboding world: a journey of deep, melodic, intelligent house that fuses worldly influences, cultural chants, and progressive tech into a seamless organic union. If you listen to the end, which of course I suggest you do, you’ll fully understand my sonic intentions which is best represented in the classic dialogue between Frodo and Gandalf. Frodo says, “I wish it need not have happened in my time.” Gandalf responds, “And so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

Lightwave has an interesting backstory. It was originally conceived in November 2020 with the opening track always intended to be the first song of the mix. Over time, several songs danced in and out of the playlist, but the mood of the mix has always been on the same intense trajectory. In the spring of 2021, I released the first part of my two part opus called Annoconfinamento. I expected the original Lightwave project to be part two of the Annoconfinamento soundscape, but as I continued to tinker with and refine it, Lightwave evolved into its own distinct aural journey. This path took me much further than expected — so far, in fact, that Lightwave is now the longest mix I’ve ever curated...pushing 5 hours of music. It’s an interplay of moody new progressive tracks, intermingled with some emotional classics and a few reinterpretations of monster late night dance floor grooves. So get ready to board this serious, menacing, progressive rocket that will transport you into new orbits. Come ride the Lightwave with me and feel how far it goes.

To cope with this surreal and unprecedented past year, I turned to music to ease my mind and soothe my soul. I invested positive energy into my DJ livestreams, which debuted in April 2020 and continue to this day. I’ve been able to connect with so many friends and fans, both new and old, all over the world, through our passion for great music. Last summer, that inspiration led to a 2-part music mix called #stayhouse to bring light into our darkest days. This spring, I am doing the same but with a different style and intention. This 2-part series is called “Annoconfinamento” (which means “Lockdown Year” in Italian) and brings a collection of intense, intelligent, and deep yet driving progressive energy together for a magnificent immersion in unmistakable, remarkable sound. Part I eases you into the groove with electro bubbling basslines and synths, and slowly builds with intention and intensity. Part II, to be released soon, boldly opens with one of my favourite songs from 2020, and the driving energy and life-giving forces continue throughout the audio adventure. Wow what a f*cking year. A struggle, a challenge, a detriment. As I’ve said many times, during such troubled moments I turn to music — and this year warrants that escape more than any other. To bring hope and light to the darkness, I present Couleurs: the definitive final remarkable mix of 2020. Couleurs represents the pinnacle of my current sonic definition and I couldn’t be more proud of the results. Featuring all new music from this year and several updated reinterpretations of well-known Remark classics, this mix demonstrates the diverse colour palette of my ever-evolving yet true-to-form sound. The journey is equally inspired by the extraordinary livestreams I’ve hosted this year during lockdown. 2020 continues to heat up with part two of the remarkable mix of the summer. Although this year has been unexplainably chaotic, if there’s one thing I can turn to that frees my mind and body it’s MUSIC. And this mix is no exception. Inspired by the creativity during lockdown, #stayhouse (the evening hour) picks up in vibe right after its predecessor. This 3-hour mix kicks things up a notch, catapulting you into a bliss-filled house groove complete with intense piano stabs, throbbing bass-lines, and empowered divas. And there are some reborn classics thrown in, taking you back to reimagined Remark dance floors. So even though this year we’re all staying home, let’s celebrate #stayhouse.

Inspired by creativity during lockdown — and the success from the weekly Remark Sunday Sessions DJ livestream — I’m pleased to release the remarkable mix of the summer. Aptly titled #stayhouse, this mix is divided into two distinct yet connected house music experiences. Part one, released in June, is called “(the magic hour)”, with a delectable curated selection of sunset grooves. In July, part two is revealed — “(the evening hour)” — which kicks the energy up several notches yet retains that positive vibe. The energy builds as you experience both mixes back to back. So let (the magic hour) ease you into the journey with a cocktail in hand and get prepared to dance well into (the evening hour) as the music compels you to raise your hands in air — even if you’re dancing at home in your living room during these uncertain times!

I dropped the first remarkable mix of 2020 as a surprise on my birthday — the intensely curated Raconteur. As the title implies, this mix strives to tell an ever-developing story through sound. The soundscape opens with hazy rhythms, and swiftly builds into a chunky progressive groove with hints of vocals. This theme continues as the mix accelerates, with more vocals and hints of world music thrown in to complement the percussion and throbbing bass lines. The journey soothes near the end, with the final track being one of the most emotive on any Remark release. Experience this ride and celebrate the story with me. This is Remark, Raconteur.

In 2012 the Remarklassics series debuted, featuring remastered tracks from the 1990s. Now the sixth installment erupts from the vaults. Remarklassics Volume VI: Feelin’ is packed with even more re-engineered Remarkable anthems, inspired by the emotional dancefloor freedom and intensity of the iconic Remark nightclub days and WPRK 91.5 FM radio show. In an increasingly agitated world of disorder, Feelin’ implores you to feel the hope, love, and energy within your heart.

After the previous intense trance release, Run 3, it felt like a good time to revisit some grooving progressive house that had been brewing for a while. Excursion was inspired by journeys at night — the ride going out to a club, the journey of the evening, and the sonic adventure of the dancefloor itself. The mix kicks in right away with a galloping pace. Vocals cruise in about 45 minutes into the groove and then as the mix nears the 3 hour mark, it accelerates with a vengeance before climaxing on an emotional and nostalgic tip. Be sure to carry the feeling all the way through and experience this remarkable Excursion from start to finish.

In 2014, the Run series was unleashed with a fury. The 2-part, trance-inspired sonic adventure cruised at over 135 beats per minute and had one primary mission: to make you move with intensity and relentless energy. Fast forward 5 years and the third chapter in the trilogy arrives. Experience 25 years of remarkable dance floor memories as current uplifting trance intermingles with progressive and vocal deep cuts from past. Move through sound, motion, and memories like never before. This is Remark Run 3: 1994 – 2019.

2018 concludes with the progressive and temperamental mix called Protean. This tech-house soundscape meanders through intelligent electronica, hypnotic percussion, hints of world music, and well-balanced vocals. A portion of the mix pays homage to the past, featuring a medley of new interpretations of classic 1990 progressive anthems. The rhythm and energy of Protean shifts and morphs over three hours, successfully earning the definition of its title: "tending or able to change frequently or easily and able to do many different things”. It concludes on a down-groove emotional tip, with the final lyrics begging the listener to “stay with me”. Enjoy this three hour sonic story to finish off the remarkable year.

On 15 July 2018, I got married to the man of my dreams in London. At the end of the incredible day, I curated a celebratory dance mix to conclude the event. The 2-hour medley — appropriately titled “Wedlock” — features some of the most memorable Remarkable vocal anthems that have rocked dance floors throughout the years. The mix was released at the precise moment it got played at the wedding, so that Remarkable fans around the world could experience the uplifting vibe at the same time. And for those guests who attended the event in person, you can now relive the triumphant dance party from the end of our spectacular day. So dance and sing, get up and do your thing — and remember that love wins, every time!

The first remarkable soundscape of the year makes a grand entrance. 2018 signifies DJing for 30 years and this mix celebrates storytelling and dance floor inculcation through house music. I’ve always been thrilled with and inspired by telling stories through the music — carefully curating tracks that weave in and out of each other — creating a journey that takes the listener on a physical and mental experience from start to finish. Inculcator is the latest intentional chapter in this dancefloor celebration and the cerebral adventure that goes with it.

I recently had an incredible night out seeing Hercules & Love Affair perform live in London...it was a disco-infused house music experience and it reminded me of the glory days of the 1990s when the dancefloor was filled with vocals, piano stabs, funky samples, and throbbing-bobbing bass lines. I was inspired to tap into that positive energy to bring 2017 to a close with this uplifting Remarkable mix. Appropriately titled Lovelife, it celebrates disco soul and the feeling of unity that the dance floor brings…pulling together some recent club tunes and pairing them with some of my biggest vocal anthems from decades past. So when you’re in the mood to be energized and to simply feel good, throw this bouncing medley on and live the Lovelife spirit.

Remarklassics returns after a 4 year hiatus. This latest installment, “Dreamin’”, picks up where the last one left off: after some intense hours of peaking, this mix takes you into the dreamlike state of the dance floor in those very early hours of the morning. Those hours were always magical, when the darkest night turned into dawn and you literally felt like you were floating through music. This 3 hour journey showcases the intensity and melodies of some of the biggest progressive house tracks of the 1990s. It’s absolutely worth experiencing the set from start to finish, as though you were in the club at 5 AM, soon to watch the sunrise. Forever remembering…forever dreaming.

A mix more than six months in the making, the remarkable sound of the summer has finally arrived. Meteoric erupts with energy and pulls you into a pulsing, progressive, late-night groove. Much like the title implies, the mix begins with a meteoric rise in rhythmic intensity that throbs its way across the dance floor. There are a few nods to the past, with some new interpretations of classic tracks. But for the most part, this mix showcases new and fresh music from 2017 to keep you moving. As the 3-hour mix subsides, the energy shifts into sensual, moody tech…aiming to match your mental state at the end of a glorious club night. Meteoric indeed, it’s been well worth the wait.

As the tumultuous 2016 draws to a close, the final Remarkable mix of the year is born. This epic journey unfolds over 3 hours, revealing something new and deeper and different as you continue the ride. The mix title is comprised of the words "memento" and "momentum" and is intended to inspire us to focus on the energy of the moment. Those moments of escape on the dancefloor when you feel connected to everything and everyone all at once. Enjoy this final emotive chapter of the year and let the music move you...

The summer of 2016 concludes with Rhythm, a mix that has been a few years in the making. Last year, it almost made its debut right after the remarkable vocal celebration mix, Harmony. Harmony and Rhythm were always intended to be companion mixes, and this one is the deeper and dubbier of the two. Filled with throbbing, unstoppable basslines, some uplifting house vocals, and most importantly layer upon layer of percussion...this mix is a groove that doesn't want to stop.

Solstice debuts as the remarkable summer mix of 2016. This mix has special meaning to me as it is dedicated to the victims of the Pulse Orlando shooting that took place in June. This vocal-infused house music experience celebrates life and the community of the dancefloor and is intended to keep you uplifted and smiling and dancing all night long. Stylistically, it has a few nods to the 1990s when I DJed every week in Orlando, and also has some summer gems from the past few years in addition to brand new music. Enjoy this house celebration.

After an exclusive two month run on Mixcloud, my 3-hour Pet Shop Boys tribute debuts on the Remarkable Podcast. This set was recorded live in Edinburgh, Scotland on 25 March 2016 to close out the Pet Shop Boys Symposium, a 2 day academic seminar celebrating Pet Shop Boys contributions to pop music and culture. Enjoy this extraordinary tribute to my favourite band of all time. The mix has at least 1 song from every album and showcases their 30 year flawless career.

2015 concludes with the mind-altering Leitmotif. Defined as "a recurrent theme throughout a musical or literary composition, associated with a particular person, idea, or situation", Leitmotif takes you on a moody aural journey that represents my deeper sound from the past 5 years. This ambitious end to 2015 is released to coincide with New Year's Eve – a nod to the extraordinary days of old when I would DJ in clubs or at house parties on such a memorable holiday evening. After the previous uplifting mix of the summer - Harmony - we move on to celebrate late summer and the darker parts of the evening with Manoeuvre. After the depths and darkness of my previous moody mix Presager, the summer of 2015 explodes with a celebration of five decades of vocal house anthems. Harmony showcases some of my favourite vocal house mixes of all time. It's the perfect melody to uplift your summer and is best enjoyed in the sun - whether it's midday by the pool, sunset with a cocktail in hand, or after a long night out and you're dancing to the sunrise. So dance and sing, get up and do your thing...

I originally intended for the first mix of 2015 to be an uplifting vocal affair. But something grabbed a hold of me on the cusp of spring -- a creative energy that swirls best in the darkest and deepest of nights. The 3 hour and 21 minute mix Presager emerged from the depths, painting a dramatic, hallucinatory soundtrack that weaves its way through your conscious and subconscious. So while we wait of the uplifting moments to return, experience this full-on 4:00 a.m. dance floor forecast.

2014 concludes with the epic remarkable new mix, Chapters. This almost 3-hour soundscape can be divided into six distinct "chapters", each representing a different moment and feeling as the mix intensely progresses. It captures a lot of emotion from this past summer, manifesting itself into a big room tech-house journey. Like most Remark mixes, this one focuses on the present with some nostalgic nods to the past. Experience this final Remarkable sound of 2014: Chapters.

We ease into the late summer with part 3 of a long-standing Remarkable trilogy. Joining the ranks of 2001's Breathe and 2002's Evolution, I'm proud to bring you a mix that's been in the works for years: Senescence. This mix, which reflects upon the idea of aging, dips very deep into minimal, dubby, tech-inspired grooves. More of an intellectual headphone mix than a dance floor stomper, Senescence inspires movement in the darkest of nights.

After the slamming previous trance mixes Run and Run2 from earlier this year, this summer we see a return to the depths of a progressive tech-house groove with Solus. The collection of tracks covers some great songs I've had in the queue for a while, not to mention a couple of old-school surprises thrown in for good measure. Definitely an incredible early morning vibe.

The energy from last month continues with the slamming part 2 conclusion of Run. The mix continues with the same energy and theme as its predecessor, clocking in at over 3 hours and keeping the same running pace of 136 beats per minute. Soaring vocals coupled with driving basslines will ensure you are still running to release and running forever...

2014 begins with a mix that has been in the works for 5 years: it's the climactic release of Run. The mix, released on my 41st birthday, celebrates life at 136 beats per minute and is the longest mix I have ever recorded, clocking in at an incredible three hours and twelve minutes. The mix is engineered and programmed for doing anything and everything energetic--it is the ultimate assertion of life. Run to release and run forever.

The final Remark mix of 2013 has arrived, appropriately titled Stellar. This tech-vocal groove saunters through depth, space, and time--cruising along with some sexy bass line rhythms and occasionally flirting with some serious four-on-the-floor energy. The journey comes to an end almost three hours later with some uplifting sounds and dreamy synths. Revel in this Stellar Remarkable experience.
