Dana and Erica can’t always get the human names right, but they know how important a dogs name is! What’s worse than a bad dog name? Not much. Erica’s dog has cancer and surgery is scheduled for next week. Not great news to get as a dog parent 🥺

How far is too far to take a dog to their new forever? Erica drove two full grown dogs from Arizona to Oregon to meet a family who wanted to adopt them… sight unseen!

Some people think the day you “rescue” a dog from a situation it is all smooth sailing. That is sometimes the easiest day. What goes into 1 dog that comes into a rescue will shock you.

Look for a couple hundred dogs moving from the old East Maricopa Shelter building to the new and waaaay improved East Shelter building. Dana dives in to the new facilities and why the old building just wasn’t a permanent solution.

Everyone seems to have watched the Reacher series AND everyone seems to have seen the episode where Reacher “saves” a dog from a “bad” situation. This one got us triggered and we will share with you why during this episode.

What came first? Being a little emotional so we got into rescue or getting into rescue and it made us emotional?

Erica and Dana have been super busy with party for the pause but now that the dust is settled we’re getting back into our normal groove!

We discovered that we both have not only a passion for dogs but true crime. Why is it that the women who love dogs also seem to love listening to murder stories?? Oh well, we all have our ways of relaxing!

The annual fundraiser, Party for the Paws finally found a space! Also, Erica is apparently stingy with her blood donations.

Pete Davidson decided that buying a dog was more important to his selfish desires versus adopting a dog from Rescue or a shelter. Communities are overwhelmed with dogs that need homes and the breed called “doodle” is really making it tougher to get other dogs seen. So frustrating!
