Restorative Justice: Liberal Nonsense or Vital Tool? S5E24
It has been said that "Restorative Justice is a term not as well-known as SEL, CRT, and DEI, but it is just as insidious. What started in the prison system has evolved into a deceptively nice-sounding approach to school discipline that, more frequently than not, results in more harm than actual justice for either the offender or the victims." SEL: Social and Emotional Learning CRT: Critical Race Theory DEI: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion So, what is Restorative Justice? Is it "liberal nonsense" or a vital tool in communities, schools, workplaces & the justice system? Facts from a Constitutional Conservative who has served for years as a Restorative Justice Facilitator... Just like any system or process, it only works if it is done properly. If there is an offender unwilling to effectively participate, traditional punishments should be utilized. Something else important to consider is the voice this process gives to victims. People affected by misbehavior have needs that must be met. Typical needs include: An opportunity to express emotions, assurance that what happened was unfair & undeserved, seeing the offender held accountable, financial restitution, an apology from the offender, having questions answered by the offender, receiving an assurance of safety from the offender, etc. A snippet of the book referenced in today's video can be found at https://www.iirp.edu/images/pdf/Restorative_Practices_Continuum.pdf and https://www.iirp.edu/images/pdf/Social_Dicipline_Window.pdf

Term Limits in Name Only? S5E22
Term limits - Which offices have them? What are the terms limits? Many offices don't have term limits - a politician can serve in that role as many terms as they'd like. Many other offices have Term Limits in Name Only. This is why we have a government full of bureaucrats and career politicians... What do we do about it? The document referenced in today's video can be found at https://restorefreedomkh.com/FLTermLimits

Can Congress Attach Strings to Funds it Gives to the States? Why This Matters to You! S5E16
SCOTUS making rules for how the Feds dish out YOUR tax dollars to state governments 😲 Last week, we talked about South Dakota v Dole (1987), where SCOTUS laid out 5 limits on Congress’ power to attach strings on money given to the states. But there’s some major concerns with how SCOTUS has handled these issues. They come up with all these rules and tests for determining and defining the powers of the federal government – but they don’t have the authority to set the “rules.” We The People set out the rules within the contract itself – the US Constitution. So, what does the Constitution say about Congress’ power to attach strings on money given to the states? See more at https://restorefreedomkh.com/2026/04/23/scotus-imposed-limits-on-congress-power-to-attach-strings-to-funds-for-states/
