An English language dramatic reading of Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Niblung) referred to by the composer as a Bühnenfestspiel ("stage festival play"). Wagner was both composer and librettist for the epic dramas comprising "the Ring Cycle".
