"Rise Above the Storm"

by Jennifer Fredell-Saucier

We created this platform with one purpose in mind: to give a voice to the stories that are often carried quietly. The stories of people who have walked through unimaginable loss and somehow kept moving. The stories of those who have battled adversity, grief, addiction, illness, trauma, failure, fear, heartbreak, and circumstances they never asked for, and found the courage to rise anyway. We will also share the stories of the people who can no longer tell their own. We want to honor the lives, sacrifices, legacies and memories that should never be forgotten. We want to sit across from people who have been knocked down by life and ask the questions that go deeper than, "How did you survive?" We want to know what kept you going. Who showed up for you. What you learned in the darkest moments. How your pain changed you. And how you found the strength to stand again. "Rise Above the Storm" will be a place for real conversations, meaningful stories, difficult truths, hope, healing, purpos
