Your prayers requested for this important week:FIRST - if you are facing a step of faith in your life, feel free to pray with us on the prayercast that God would release his promises in your own life.SECOND - we have a VERY IMPORTANT CONFERENCE THIS WEEK with leaders from five different countries coming together. Please pray with us:- for a miraculously 'incident-free' week. We have never seen this before as something always seems to come to distract or cause problems -- but let's believe together for God's protection and extra care!- for the leaders coming that their faith and fruitfulness would be stretched and that we would all hear from the Holy Spirit as he leads!Thank you!

Your prayers are so important!- This week we spent time with Kenyan church planters who continually face daily obstacles in their ministry: their own poverty, the poverty of those they are reaching out to, the cost and challenges of transportation to do the work of ministry, the routine needs and struggles of daily life and families. Yet in the midst of this they set high goals. As one said: "We hope to double the number of house churches in our region over the next 6 months!" Their exhortation to each other was "Do Not Lose Heart!" So PLEASE PRAY WITH US for these special leaders that, in the midst of it all, they would not lose heart. Your prayers impact this work!- On today's prayercast, I invite you to pray for these leaders and then I invite you to join me in praying for one another that in the midst of OUR daily lives, which sometimes becomes overwhelming, WE would NOT LOSE HEART.

Your prayers, today, as Brooks and I are in Africa, are so appreciated.- Please pray with us as we resist the enemy who works overtime, when we travel, to sow hindrances, distractions, and frustrations. We know God is always at work in all things, so your prayers to sustain us and the work are so necessary.- If you listen to the prayercast, we will also join you in praying for you to resist the enemy when he seeks to use situations and circumstances to sow fear, shame, or hopelessness."Submit to God, resist the enemy, and he will flee." That's a powerful promise we can stand with each other on!

Your prayers are so appreciated! - We are excited to pray with Justin who is leaving today to take a team from Rwanda into Sudan-- a very dangerous country right now with civil war in the south and severe persecution of Christians in the north. Please pray for this team's safety and fruitfulness.- If you listen to the prayercast (click below) we can also pray together that God will give each of us the faith to step out of our own boats and experience the miracle of faith.

1. We pray for one another to believe and stand in God's promises for us.2. We pray for the harvest to increase as workers in East Africa are expanding their territories and moving into more remote and more dangerous areas. Both Turkana, in northern Kenya, and Sudan are being targeted.
