Get in, we’re going to HELL! A few fun ones for you this week as we relish the acting of Harry Stanton in Repo Man and come to terms with a glowing car! We then set our sights on opening the gates to hell as we follow a serial killer enact his bloody trail in Psycho Killer! And we finish with a whole lotta bloody mess as we come face to face with the big man trying to save our family in They Will Kill You!

How far are you willing to go for love…and what are you going to do to keep it?! These three come together nicely as we see Nic Cage as an on-the-run rocker in Wild at Heart, we see if Glen Powell can actually win us over as he figures out how to live, and finally we put a marriage to the ultimate test with No Other Choice!

We have all kinds of messes for you this week! We join Pete Davidson helping out around a retirement home in The Home. Daisy Ridley is risking it all to make amends in We Bury Our Dead. And finally we wrap it up with a wonderful tale from the 90’s directed by David Lynch about an old man headed to visit his brother! Grab a seat and get comfortable with us!

We’re gonna be taking you on some journeys with this one! Starting with an accident and parents coming to help their daughter in Hallow Road. We then take a look at the John Woo 2024 remake of the classic John Woo classic film, The Killer, from 1989. Then a newer one for your tastebuds with Sam Rockwell in Good Luck Have Fun Don’t Die which we think you’ll enjoy!

Do you feel comfortable where you are? Because 208 is bringing the nonchalant uneasiness to you this week. We start with Lurker finding out about the cost of fame. Then we jump to The Bride and get this new take on the old monsters of lore. And finally we wrap up with a revenge story called Redux Redux which will have you getting a good look at this sci-fi stuff!

Jumping Vampires are back!!! We take a look at some more zany paranormal stuff from Hong Kong with Encounters of the Spooky Kind. We then jump back to the 60’s with the serial killer thriller of Peeping Tom. And then we wrap up with Manhunter and revisiting our ol’ pal Hannibal! Buckle up cuz we have some murrrrrrder for you!

We got a mixed bag for you this week. All the way from a Scorsese classic and heart warming tale about film preservation. Then some silly jumping vampires help to take down a powerful zombie in Mr. Vampire! And then we revisit the world of John Wick with the Ballerina movie helping us visit some old friends…

205 bringing the sexual tension for damn sure! We start at Disclosure and some infidelity, move onto The Hidden Fortress and Mifune’s short shorts, and end with Wuthering Heights and the lust and yearning of one another…

For 204 we need you to trust us. There’s plenty of horniness to go around, but we also gotta ball by any means necessary…well, maybe not that turn of phrase…but we watched Marty Supreme, Touch Me, and Man Bites Dog. We get a little lost in the weeds, but we eventually land where we were aiming for!

For 203 we’re taking on everything from witches to crime and we even throw a desert rave in for you! We check out Wicked (2) For Good, Sirat (your desert rave infatuation), and good ol Robocop! Just how gritty can we get this week!?

Dinos vs guns, the true Vietnam experience!! And then we have a series of murders…a serial killer and Chris Pratt trying to prove his innocence…but plenty of CCR for everyone!

Which might be your new favorite?!

191 brings you some wild fun with a couple recent releases with The Smashing Machine and Dust Bunny and then we take a look back at The Limey directed by Soderberg…an eclectic collection just for you!!

I hate Luke for this one. Some real bogus scenes he had me watching and I may not forgive him for a while! We watched Together, The Ugly Stepsister, and the newest Toxic Avenger. What’s the deal with rising healthcare costs?!

Buckle up cuz we’re taking you for a ride!! Taking a look at those movie filmed in the 90’s about things that took place in the 70’s. Starting out with The Virgin Suicides and then jumping to Summer of Sam and then ending on Velvet Goldmine. A trip down memory lane? Or just a trip?!

This week we take a look at a newer movie called Cloud, and then we dive into a couple old classics in remembrance of the great Rob Reiner. A truly solid director and these two movies (When Harry Met Sally and Misery) showcase his brilliance wonderfully!

Here at the start of the year we bring you our top ten films of 2025. Where Luke went the traditional way and leaned heavily on 2025 films, I took a different approach looking back on the films we had watched for the podcast and picking a few greats you may have missed and then my 5 fave of the year!

We start today’s romp with the entertaining Roofman and then we pit list against list and rank the John Carpenter films!! Pleasant surprises are made along the way as our lists aren’t TOO* different from each others. We’ve come to find we wouldn’t be upset catching any film if it carry’s his name in the title, but can we agree on any of them ranking wise?! This was a lovely episode for sure!

We’re winding down the John Carpenter and we’ve saved you a seat next to us! Let’s start with a nice and easy going game of baseball with Eephus and then we will take a look at Vampires and Ghost of Mars! Nothing like what you’re expecting but everything you’ll be glad to have the memories of 😉

We’re back on that witch stuff. Yeah I know. Get your fill with crazy witches in the woods and insane nerdy children…because then Snake returns as he tries to Escape from LA! If these are indicators of what we have to look forward to, I stand with Snake!

You know what you need?! Some really freaky deaky stuff to snack on! Disregarding Flight Risk which should be avoided at all costs…In the Mouth of Madness brings it in so many ways and Bugonia rounds out the episode with freakiest way possible! Don’t let us pop your bubble though and enjoy these with us!

We’re taking you some places you didn’t even know you wanted to see! I know I certainly didn’t!! But we got through it and now we’re stronger, right…RIGHT?! 182 finds us dealing with demons again for Conjuring 4. We find out if Chevy Chase is always a jerk in Memoirs of an Invisible Man. And we finish with a wild one called Eddington that certain helped Pedro win our favor back in this trippy film about the pandemic. But really nothing can prepare you so just be warned!

I need you to take a seat because I don’t think you’re adequately going to understand just how bad Materialists is. But fear not because Prince of Darkness and They Live MORE than make up for the void Pedro left inside us for that one! It’s a fun ride through it all so kick back and enjoy!

We have finally made it out of the 170’s and 180 is a barn burner! Starman to Predator Badlands and ending with Good Boy, we will take you to worlds you weren’t expecting to places that just might frighten you! We will be holding your hand the whole way too…but only because we know you appreciate knowing we are close!

We start with Lake Munro, move to the lovely Christine, and finish with the extremely fun kung fucking of The Magnificent Bastard! We’re coming shooting from the hip for 172 and our journey into nunsploitation! (Criterion’s word, not ours!) but we take a look at The Devils from the 70’s and Ms. 45 from the 80’s. So wild witch chasing and a different kind of slasher film for ya…and if you’re good, you just might to get to use a crocodile in a sword fight!

171 is chock full of goodness! Bleeding from the ears, blowing up trees with tnt, and I continue my path to sell Luke on Alien:Earth! Some trippy ones worth your attention and some more xeno craziness!

We find ourselves in some weird space. Like legitimately…The Amateur will get the job done, both figuratively and literally…Blow Out is a good time, I think? But Luke is really struggling with Alien Earth…it carries the alien curse for him and we hope he can find joy…

Listen. We spend a little time talking about Locked and Alien, but they ain’t the attractions. Samara Weaving returns to our hearts in Eenie Meanie and Weapons comes to do some witch shit…please catch it in theatres if it’s an option!!

A full heater this week! We gush about the newer creature feature of Werewolves, we go undercover with Larry in Deep Cover, and discuss the next episode of Alien Earth! All very loved and very well respected in their corner of the entertainment nooks they reside in!

166 finds Luke spinning out…his heart is shrinking and can’t find the joy that a movie about a unicorn SHOULD bring…and then we take some time admiring another fun psychotic break brought to us by Jack Nickolaus’ son. A truly insane episode for you guys!

165 finds us dating after a long hiatus and the repercussions of a date gone wrong. What happens if we don’t take our drugs…in both situations are wildly different endings…maybe take them always?

You can’t tell right now, but Richard Chance is actually watching you right now. Prolly with his wee wee out. Couple wild ones for you and taking a look at young William Defoe as a counterfeit bill maker and then John Malkovich being the very best version of himself! Then we discuss the latest entry into the MCU and can Pedro take up his mantle of Daddy agin?!

Bringing you a weird one for sure. The new one from Prime where John Cena and Idris Elba team up begrudgingly to solve a plot that might have world ending implications and then we dine at a restaurant attached to a cemetery that holds some surreal technology about how to visit loved ones after they’ve passed on…or maybe AI is to blame for it all?!
