Maybe you feel like for God to speak to you it would be an unlikely conversation. Maybe you feel unworthy of his interaction, or maybe you feel like he’s a God that would shame you in your inequities and mess? listen to the story of the Samaritan woman and walk through her story. She was placed on the bottom rung socially relationally and spiritually. yet, Jesus mets with her and had an offer for her of eternal life as she stood at the well trying to draw stagnant water Jesus offered her something that no one on this earth could offer. A living water that would bring up eternal life within her this is also an offer that he gives us.

In this episode I speak of relationships and people I have struggled to forgive and how the lenses of hurt I would look through not only hindered my relationship with others and my freedom but effected my relationship with Jesus. Are we paying too much attention to the ones who have let us down, rather than allowing the one who will never let us down take control. The God of justice, who am I to be the judge? Giving the control to God. That’s freedom.

In this episode I (Elisha) speak about how I was rooting my worth in relationships, flattery, boys and situationships. My sights were diverted from paying attention to Jesus and my relationship with him, instead I was more concerned on what others thought of me. In this episode I am very venerable in sharing my story and what this looked like for me.

What we watch? Buy? Talk about? Who we encounter? What we invest in? Or what we are not paying attention to? More importantly who? GOD should be and wants to be our main and single focus . Part 1 - In this episode me and Freya Watson speak about our experiences throughout freshers, and what we wish we knew when we started. We both struggled within friendships, so how can we be authentic, and honest about our struggles? As well as reaching out to the people in our uni accommodation and even family we might find difficult. We believe that God calls us to be in communication and relationship with others. So listen to hear how we both have learnt through Gods word and the Bible and how to be rooted in vulnerable authentic, Godly friendships.

She went from complete disbelief in God, poor mental health, abusive relationships and drug and alcohol abuse to a unexplainable experience with God and an unwavering belief that he has saved her over and over again. Part 2~ Comparison ft Bella we’re going to talk about comparison in the church in the Christian union. Equally we are tackling how we can focus on God’s compassion and love for us.

Part 1 ~ In this episode Bella shares how she struggled and dealt with comparison with her twin sister but also friends and her within her faith. Both of us speak honestly about how comparison has destroyed a positive view of ourselves, and attacked our identity! We believe that the comparison is a thief of all joy and yes this is part 1, keep your eyes peeled for part 2; talking about comparison in church and the CU.
