RSS Disco & Amount - Mind Melt (Maltitz Remix) RSS Disco & Amount’s hypnotizing “Mind Melt” gets a deep tissue massage by the one and only Maltitz. The original being a firm festival-favorite of last summer, this new rendition shapes up to move distinguished feet again. A pulsing bassline for your gut health, hard hitting drums that are kicking up dust on outdoor stages and this infectious vocal. What is it saying? “You got my mind”?! What type of subconscious persuasion is this? Whatever you make of it, it’ll linger in your head, even days after the party. Maltitz was a perfect choice for this remix - such a charismatic, energizing and positive force of the modern Berlin scene. RSS Disco and Amount both love and play his releases on Skylax Records, Bordello A Parigi, his remixes on ZYX Records and many others.

Live from 39c3 - the 39th Chaos Communication Congress From crackling Kraut and Disco records to hyper produced Techno tracks - dance music has come a long way in the last six decades, and was always strongly influenced by evolving technology. Dance music’s history is a feedback system between culture and circuitry. Each new invention, from the disco subwoofer to today’s neural-driven mastering tools, reshapes sound itself. RSS Disco’s timeline approach celebrates this continuum: a story of machines learning to groove, and humans learning to listen differently through them. We take you on a trip through music history in a two hour DJ-set. Starting with music from the early 1970s and closing with tracks produced in 2025. Have a dance with us and get a feeling for the changing sound aesthetics, style and fashion the over the decades. Not a lot of time to cover the sheer endless amount of music and information, you say? You are right! This can only be a tiny extract, filtered through our perspective and taste. We’ll focus on a selection that feels representative for its time - exciting, beautiful, obscure or interesting. And of course some dirty bangers. To make the set not only danceable but also offer hungry brains visual context, we provide a live timeline with info about the decade's musical developments, technical breakthroughs/curiosities and fun facts. Chances are that you’ve been in the firm grip of the vulcan bass line and logical drums patterns recently? The cheese really begins to melt when warp kicks in: glistening synth work and feverous chords. All is topped off with irresistible vocals, frenetic euphoria is just one reactor core breakdown away. @amounttechno @mireiarec

A hazy, cold Sunday in Berlin. Inside, at Island Universe - we find a soothing and alleviating atmosphere. Friendly faces. The ideal setting to explore remote depths of our music collections, taking the time so sloooowly build up. We traverse across basslines, dubby chords and left field waves - meandering into house and disco. This might be balearic. Take the journey with us!

A sweaty visit to HÖR Berlin in summer 2024.

"Do you remember this song we heard in a nightclub on the seedy side of town? Must have been a Tuesday night - it's been stuck in my head since." Previously only available on a limited run of 100 7" vinyls, RSS Disco's "Always See Your Smile" takes a bath in the spotlight. A driving bass line matched with strong, soulful vocals urge the listener onto the dance floor. The mid-section surprises with a "French Kiss"-worthy tempo drop, only to come back up to its full captivating potential.

Garbicz Festival 2024 / Sunday night on the Wiese floor What a ride! Any words we write down here are not doing justice to the experience we had. Hope these three hours of music will serve as testimony to the fantastic times there. Thank you dancers, friends, lovers; thank you Garbicz Festival.

Sonntags Daydrinking & Daydancing im Planten un Blomen mit RSS Disco. Daylight Discotheque nimmt sich beim Namen: endlich einen schönen Ort zu schaffen für Sonntage im Park. Blick auf die Enten, Getränk in der Hand und mindestens ein Bein auf der Tanzfläche. Daher jetzt: “alldaylong” am 18. Juni 23 auf der wunderbaren Terrasse des Park Café Schöne Aussichten. Irgendwo zwischen Freibad-Pommes, Südseeinsel-Fernweh, Festival-Gefühl. Highlight nebenbei: zum Start der Daylight Discotheque gibt es eine exklusive 7”Vinyl mit zwei trippy balearic cuts. It’s been a few weeks since the release of RSS Disco’s “Mooncake”. An album that weaves the fibers of wave, disco & cosmic music into a dense, glowing pattern of sound. Alongside the album, we’ve heard a bouquet of hand-picked remixes by Prins Thomas, Johanna Knutsson, Johannes Klingebiel and more. Now RSS Disco prepare for the final slice of cake. This one’s extra tasty again! Irusu (12" Club Mix) takes the spacey/wavey original song and propels it into dimension 12. A place where lifeforms of all configurations compete in a strobe-heavy dance off. Sharing the dessert-spoon is label companion and friend Rigopolar (Duro, Nein, Oráculo Records). Known for his driving and mind-bending productions, his remix offers a hypnotic experience, made for the big (or even huge?) dancefloors with pulsing drums and teasing synthlines.
