The Cleveland Cavaliers selected Evan Mobley with the 3rd overall pick, and he has fully lived up to all expectations. The Atlanta Hawks have had a rocky start to the season. Still have a top tier offense in the NBA, but their defense is amongst the worst. The Dallas Mavericks have looked bad at times this year, but have one of the better records in the NBA Western Conference this season and are seeing some positive signs with Jalen Brunson, Kristaps Porzingis and with new coach Kristaps Porzingis. Here are my thoughts on their season so far.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Paul George continue to be one of the better teams in the NBA Western Conference even without Kawhi Leonard due to Paul George playing at an MVP level, his best basketball since his OKC days is a big reason for that success.
