Kings vs Lakers 11/4/26 - Kings not on the Laker's level, Midterm 2026 thoughts
The Kings faced the Lakers for the 1st time in the regular season and unfortunately showed that they were not on the Lakers level. A lot of it boils down to the Laker offense being better on a philosophical level along with having 2 of the best playmakers in the league. They also have better...

Kings vs Mavericks 11/2/26 - Kings finally get a win, Darius and Sabonis drama?
The Kings finally get a win! Their first in over 6 and half months. And it was quite a glorious one as well as the Kings grinded out a mud fight and walked the Mavs down in the 4th quarter with some cold 3s. It may have been a really bad off game for the Mavs, but some of things the Kings did…

Kings vs Grizzlies 10/31/26 - Kings winless streak extends to 6 as they get whacked again by Memphis, Valkyries win the 2026 WNBA title
Welp, the Kings remain winless after 6 games. And this is despite Darius Acuff having arguably his best game so far scoring 38 points and making 9 threes. Things are looking bleaker and bleaker for the Kings this season, but it does look like Darius is a special player that is destined for a...
-
Kings vs Pelicans 10/29/26 - Kings lose against the Pelicans in the Battle of NBA Flea Bottom
In the battle of 2 of the worst teams in the league, the Kings take another L. And this one was really inexcusable, the Pelicans are a bad team that doesn't play a lot of defense and doesn't shoot well from 3. Well the Kings found a way, in the form of 25 turnovers and terrible defense. The path…

Kings vs Spurs 10/27/26 - Kings can't defend against the Spurs
It was always going to be a long shot but at least fans expect their team to put up a fight. The Kings got destroyed by the Spurs and their defense was the main culprit. They gave up easy transition points, shots at the rim and three pointers. Not a recipe to win in today's game. Beyond all those...
-
Kings vs Grizzlies 10/25/26 - Kings don't play as hard as the Grizzlies
Another game another loss. While the Kings are getting better every game, there's always something they struggle with and in this game it was the rebounding. The Grizzlies had 18 offensive rebounds and it wasn't that they were overpowered by this very big and physical Memphis team. It was the...
-
Kings vs Blazers 10/23/26 - Kings show better effort but fall to Blazers in home opener
Well it was a win, but it was a better effort. The Kings went back to running the offense through Sabonis and it looked terrific for much of the game. But a dreaded run at the start of the 3rd quarter by the Blazers put the Kings in a hole that they weren't able to recover from. That being said,...
-
Kings vs Clippers 10/21/26 - Kings carry bad preseason play into the regular season, Ben Simmons tears achilles
Welp, that's a bad way to start a season. The Kings and their fans were hit across the head with the news of Ben Simmons tearing his achilles in practice over the weekend, and that set the stage for the unfortunate showing to begin their season in LA. Without Simmons, the Kings were limited with...

NBA Preseason 2026-27 Game 5: Kings vs Spurs - The King's awful preseason mercifully comes to an end
Finally it ends, this terrible Kings preseason comes to an end. It wasn't pretty to say the least, the Kings once again get blown out, this time by the Spurs. There were very few bright spots, and one of them was that the Kings finally had a mostly healthy rotation. It wasn't smooth and they...
-
NBA Preseason Game 4: Kings vs Blazers - Kings subject fans to one of the worst games of all time
There are bad games, and then there's whatever this preseason game against the Blazers was. Many of the rotation players were sidelined and left the Kings to fend for themselves against basically a full Blazers squad that smelled blood. While a loss was not surprising in the least, the way the...
-
NBA Preseason 2026 Game 2: Kings vs Lakers & Warriors - Can the King's philosophical challenges be overcome with their full squad?
The Kings have lost their past 2 preseason games, and both of them in what I would say similar circumstances. They lack an offensive system to generate easy looks for the team and their defense isn't up to task to stop the other team from lighting them up from 3. But from the Lakers game to...
-
NBA Preseason 2026 Game 1 Kings vs Lakers - Kings disappoint in Preseason debut
The long wait was not worth it. If you were excited to watch this new look Kings like Owen was, you were left deeply disappointed. The Kings curb stomped by the Lakers and looked helpless on both ends of the floor. It's an eerily similar feeling and look on the court to last year's team and you...
