Saints & Sages

For April we go over one of the Drs. of the Church with St. Anselm of Canterbury.

Today we are learning more about #saints with #cuthbert of Northumbria. The discussion this week was largely led by Liam.

Today we speak of one of three national saints of Ireland, the Patroness herself, Brigid.

For the first episode of 2026 we are starting with the beloved St. Mungo, the patron saint of Glasgow, Scotland. Shawn was the primary reader this month and we hope you learn a little about the beautiful life of St. Mungo.

In this first, perhaps uncoordinated, episode, we begin our journey with a discussion of a famous yet perhaps mysterious saint, Edmund the Martyr. One of the oldest "patron" saints of England, he holds a very interesting place in history while also being a good religious example for us.
