I I finally went to the Isles of Scilly after years of wanting to visit and I was not disappointed at all! The only thing I will say is the day ferry only gives you 3.5 hours on the island, which is nowhere near long enough to explore and definitely not enough time to see the other islands. It’s a very beachy place so I feel good weather is rly important! Some highlights were the subtropical community Carreg Dhu gardens which, are run by volunteers and the @longstonelodge cafe right next door. #carregdhugardens #isleofscilly #britishislands #scilly #stmarys

This has to be one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever visited. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many bluebells in one place the photos don’t even do them justice. The garden has areas with sub tropical plants which manage to thrive down in Cornwall. You can walk down the garden to arrive Durgan, the small and picturesque fishing hamlet on the Helford River in South Cornwall. It has a small sheltered beach. The pièce de résistance however, is the huge cherry laurel maze is based on a design taken from the Sydney Gardens in Bath by Alfred Fox and planted in 1833. Skomer island. One of my favourite day trips. The trips cost around £46 and you get 5 hours on the island to wander around the puffins, who are amazingly calm around humans. #skomerisland #wales #pembrokeshire #puffins

Cadiz Christmas lights, I absolutely loved these… probably my favourite Christmas lights from all the places we went. They were romantic and in keeping with the old architecture. The lovely Host cafe. Host Café is an ethical non-profit café run by St Mary Aldermary Church in the heart of the City of London. I went to the flower festival at Strawberry Hill, it is the Uk's most sustainable flower festival where they turn the castle into a faery-tale realm for a weekend. The exhibition showcases 50 of the UK’s best floral artists to create floral displays inspired by folklore and faery legends. They are tasked with using only homegrown British flowers and sustainable techniques—free from floral foam and single-use plastics. I really loved seeing the festival, my favorite display was definitely the bird, it was just so well placed in the room it was housed in too. They did have limited tickets over 3 days though so even with me going on the Friday day, it was still a bit busier than I would have liked, but if you held back enough you could get some nice clear shots of the displays.
