It’s always fun to hear our Legends reminisce about the people of their careers and lives. This episode features five of our recent guest legends doing just that. Perry Turnbull, Red Berenson, Gary Sabourin, John Wensink and Jeff Brown recall the guys of their time, and their stories.

Jeff Brown– a Blues star of the 1990s who still holds some of the offensive team records for a defenseman. Only Hull and Oates had more scoring points during the Blues ‘90’-91 season. After his playing days, Brownie became a highly-respected coach piloting several non-NHL teams to championships, and has been instrumental in developing young St. Louis players into NHL talent. John Wensink played in two Stanley Cup finals in the mid 70s with the Boston Bruins. Before that he learned, almost by accident, that he could be a good fighter when necessary. He was drafted by the Blues, but only dressed for three games before landing in the Boston organization. Like many players, he returned to St. Louis to live after his career and has become a proud and active member of the alumni group. Now living in Farmington MO, he tells us some great stories from his career.

We chat with Red Berenson about his late, long-time friend and hockey buddy on this one. -- Goalies were picked first in the 60s expansion draft, but after that, Jimmy Roberts became the first skater picked by the Blues to start their franchise. Jimmy played a key role in the early success of the team. He also played with Cup winning teams in Montreal. Roberts was also a valued assistant coach with the Blues in the late 1990s. He was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2025. Enjoy!
