*PREVIEW SNIPPET* Dave Seaman - Mirrorball Sleaze (Freedrumapella)
Dave Seaman - Mirrorball Sleaze (incl. Christian Smith & D-SHIFT Remix) - Selador Support from John Digweed, Danny Howells, Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, CamelPhat, Sander Kleinenberg, Jaytech, Marsh, Jamie Stevens, Maze28, Shall Ocin, Carina Lawrence, Luke Brancaccio, James Zabiela, Nick Muir, Adriatique, Sam Divine, Lexicon Avenue, Bog Anticipation, excitement and all manner of other exalted emotions are reaching fever pitch at Selador HQ, and throughout the community of wondrous souls we call Seladoria, as Dave’s beyond long-awaited debut album hoves into view. This club-ready mix package of the title track will only serve to send such emotions stratospheric. As with several of the album’s tracks, this beauty sees Dave’s past and present collide ceremoniously, as his 2015 single ‘Strobelight Symphony’ is referenced (a single which itself took inspiration from the brilliant Superstars of Rock, signed to Dave’s 90s imprint Stress Recordings). However, Mirrorball Sleaze is both 100% new, and as now as humanly possible. It’s a brand-new retro trick that only those with Dave’s level of knowledge and experience could pull off. The album’s achingly beautiful beatless version (aka the Freedrumapella) features, and will no doubt soundtrack many a pre- or post-club session, sounding as if it’s just waltzed in from Dave’s legendary Back to Mine set from back in the day. However, fear not dancefloor disciples as we have a brace of souped-up versions that invite you to jack your bodies like there’s no tomorrow. Dave’s own interpretation trips the light fantastic, both brooding and euphoric in equal measures; at home as both a party starter or a night closer. Take your pick. Meanwhile, the Tronic duo of mainman Christian Smith and label mate D-Shift team up for the peak time mix, melodic wonk of the highest order, with beats ‘n’ riffs ricocheting round speaker stacks with reckless abandon. All bases covered. Whichever you choose, there’d better be a mirrorball! Team Selador – Sleazy Does It!

*PREVIEW SNIPPET* Danny Howells - Shutdown
You can’t keep a good man down. Or should that be, you can’t keep a God man shut down? Er, no it shouldn’t actually – we don’t need to resort to painful punnery, or woeful wordplay here (much as it can provide an entertaining diversion). This is DANNY HOWELLS we be talking about – you know it’s gonna be beyond essential, you just want us to tell you how far beyond, and why. GodSexy (the best unused track title in Prince’s sadly now dormant Future Titles notebook) throbs and bounces in all the right places. Positively sprightly whilst also oozing depth, it unveils itself layer after beautiful layer. In true Howells style, it sits alone and imperious in a world above and beyond mere genres, sonically cerebral yet simultaneously 100% dancefloor ready. Urgently uplifting, inspirationally intense. Shut Down is House Heaven meets Danny Does Disco in characteristically off-kilter (and peerless) fashion. Driven by a twisted percussive loop and a seductive vocal sample, aided and abetted by hypnotically funky guitar licks and lush chords that duck and dive like the (original) Artful Dodger, it’s all about the tension between analogue evangelism and digital futurism. Yowsah. Team Selador – we’ll be here in sunshine or in shadow, oh Danny Boy, oh Danny Boy, we love you so! xx

*PREVIEW SNIPPET* Anthony Pappa & Nick Stoynoff - 435
When two esteemed artists, both of whom have won a place in your musical heart through their consistent brilliance, announce a collaboration, your pulse inevitably and instinctively quickens. But it's not a case of how good will this be; rather, how good could this be? For every memorable meeting of musical minds unleashed into an expectant world, there is a deluge of those that didn't make the grade locked in the vaults. Enter stage left Australia's Electronic Music Ambassador Anthony Pappa; and Chicago's King of the Night Nick Stoynoff… Listener, fear not! When you press play on your sound carrier of choice (the modern equivalent of putting the needle on the record when the drumbeats go like this), we can confirm that Messrs Pappa & Stoynoff will effortlessly transport you to dancefloor nirvana. This double header is greater than the sum of its already stellar parts; your summer soundtrack has arrived. '435' wears a coat of many sonic colours, knitted together expertly by our two masters. It travels from teasing intro to emotive crescendo via a series of deft detours, an electronic concept album's worth of ideas all given room to breathe in seven and a half minutes of bliss. *PREVIEW SNIPPET* Dave Seaman - Nightfalls (Dilby Remix)
If you've been lucky enough to hear Dave play live recently, you will have heard an old favourite tune enthusiastically pulling back the curtains, blinking at the sun, having a good stretch, and returning to the fray for '26 in majestic, remixed fashion. Yes, the much-loved 'Nightfalls' is back.\n\nDave's love affair with the haunting vocal refrain ("And at sunrise / And at sunset / But when night falls / the music") from The Ananda Project's 'Cascades of Colour' has lasted for a quarter of a century, initially as a centrepiece of his much-loved Cape Town mix for Global Underground from 2000.\n\nIn 2016, appreciative of the exposure Dave had given their track, The Ananda Project returned the favour, giving Dave sample clearance to use the vocal – and 'Nightfalls' was born, making a right noise all its own as Selador's 50th release.\n\nAnd now…that haunting yet uplifting, inescapable vocal hook is back, with a re-fashioned 'Nightfalls' a focal point of Dave's eagerly anticipated album. Dave has, of course, recorded a new version himself – deep, breaks-driven, chilled yet ever so slightly menacing.\n\nA trio of handpicked remixers bring us glorious variety with their reinterpretations.\n\nElif's seriously atmospheric take guarantees transcendental dancefloor epiphanies.\n\nDilby's heads down throbber is pure energy, the vocal atop a sumptuous sonic stew.\n\nCioz is pure melodic wonk, a funky piano line underpinning a riot of riffs. *PREVIEW SNIPPET* D-Nox & Beckers - True Peak
D-Nox & Beckers, Lexer - True Peak / Conquista - Selador Raise the alarm! Sound the Essential Tunes Klaxon!! (adopts Manc drawl): Call the Cops!!! Yes siree, ‘tis true – the inimitable D-Nox and Beckers are back on Selador! And they have a special guest in tow! The Dynamic Deutsche Duo has delivered several stellar contributions to the Seladorian catalogue – and this latest double-header is a very welcome and characteristically powerful return, with Lexer the cherry on the icing on the collab cake. ‘True Peak’ is true peak time (but of course). It rocks straight from the off, as a burbling bassline explodes out of the starting blocks, all mean, moody and magnificent. Slowly but oh-so surely it is aided and abetted by a veritable plethora of memorable hooks, starting with a breathy snatched vocal, building to a keyboard riff from the techno gods. Uh-oh! Lexer has been added to the squad, and all bets are off. ‘Conquista’ is set to conquer all in its path. Everything about this tune will make you smile broadly and shake yer hips without even realising. From the so infectious congo-esque intro via the jittering one note riff, funky percussive frills and squelchy bassline to the ravemungous hands in the air crescendo, it’s a dancefloor call to arms. *PREVIEW SNIPPET* Zuccasam - Jomi Derderwandert Dub
Fresh from his awesome Seladorian debut 'Away Loss' on our recent Showcase 22 collection, London's finest Zucassam is back in double quick time to melt your dancefloors once more. 'Flip No' is, to put it simply, immense. Real old school 80s Chicago jackin' vibes (think Adonis, Bam Bam et al) are aided and abetted by rumbunctious ravey stabs, all building to a powerful progtastic crescendo. A punch has rarely been so packed. Partner in crime 'Jomi' is equally invigorating. A dark, minimal intro gradually gives way to wonderfully euphoric riffage – imagine you're dancing heads down in the dark, the light begins to creep in, and before you know it, you're greeting a beautiful sunrise. 'Jomi' does that in 8 minutes! On remix duties, Selador debutant and Bedrock / Renaissance alumni Derderwandert twists the original's key riff in a darker direction without losing any of its uplifting edge and adds snappy vocal inserts for good measure. He then spoils us with a bonus deep dubby excursion. Team Selador – Flippin' 'eck!
