    Prophet, Priest, & Judge |Sparing Saul, 1 Sam 24 | Week 36

In this passage, David has the perfect opportunity to take out Saul, but he refuses. Instead of revenge, he chooses restraint, trusting God’s timing over his own instincts. Following God won’t always make sense. In fact, it can feel completely backwards. But what looks outlandish is often where God’s wisdom is found. This message challenges us to ask: What advice or grudges am I holding onto that go against God’s Word? Even good-sounding voices can lead us off course. Trust God's way, it’s always better. “I will not put out my hand against my lord…” – 1 Samuel 24:10

  2. 117

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge |The Pursuit, 1 Sam 23:15-29 | Week 35

In this passage, David is betrayed by the Ziphites and nearly captured by Saul, but at the last moment, God intervenes. What looked like the end turns into a rescue. This story reminds us that we don’t have to take matters into our own hands. God sees, God knows, and God defends. When we release our desire for control and revenge, we make room for peace and hope. The call is simple: trust God with your enemies and let Him fight your battles. Also referenced: Psalm 54

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | David Rescues Keilah, 1 Sam: 23:1-14 | Week 34

In this passage, David doesn’t move on instinct; he seeks God for direction and then follows through in obedience. His success isn’t random; it’s the result of listening and responding to God’s leading. This message challenges us to go beyond just asking God for guidance. Do we actually follow when He speaks? The question is simple: Have you built a life that not only seeks God’s direction, but obeys it? “David inquired of the Lord…” – 1 Samuel 23:2

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Saul kills Ahimelech, 1 Sam 22:6-23 | Week 33

This passage reveals what happens when a heart drifts from God, thinking becomes distorted, actions follow, and the end leads toward destruction. But in the middle of that reality, there’s still hope: God provides a place of refuge for those who run to Him. This message calls us to examine our hearts and recognize the danger of living disconnected from God. True safety, hope, and restoration aren’t found in ourselves, but in Christ. The invitation is clear: turn from sin, stop redefining truth, and run to Jesus, our only refuge. Additional Scriptures: Romans 1:21 • James 1:14–15 • Hebrews 6:18

    Easter Sunday 2026

This Resurrection Sunday, we celebrate the greatest victory in history Jesus is alive. In Luke 24, the empty tomb declares that death has been defeated and the work of Calvary is finished. Through His resurrection, we are reconciled to God, given new life, and invited to believe and receive the salvation He secured for us. This message calls us to give all glory to God and respond in faith, because the same power that raised Christ is still at work today. Scripture References : Luke 24:1–7 • Jeremiah 2:13 • 1 Peter 3:18–19 • Romans 6:4 • Romans 1:4 • 1 Corinthians 15:54–55

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | David on the Run, Part 2, 1 Sam 21:10-15 | Week 31

In this passage, David is overwhelmed by fear and makes questionable decisions to survive, but even in his panic, God’s mercy, faithfulness, and protection never leave him. While David leans on his own wisdom, God still shows grace and delivers him. This message reminds us that in moments of fear and uncertainty, we’re not called to compromise or rely on ourselves, but to trust in God’s wisdom and promises. Even when we fall short, our Father remains faithful. So when fear rises, don’t run, turn it into faith. Trust Him, follow Him, and remember: His mercy meets you even in your mistakes.

  8. 111

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | David on the run part 1 1 Sam 21:1-9 | Week 30

In this passage, David is on the run from Saul, hungry, vulnerable, and without a weapon. Yet in the middle of his desperation, God provides exactly what he needs: bread to eat and the very sword of Goliath. This story reminds us that even in our hardest moments, God’s providence is at work. When we feel empty, uncertain, or unprepared, He is still the one who provides. The invitation for us is simple: trust God as your provider, even in seasons of fear, lack, or uncertainty. “There is none like it; give it to me.” – 1 Samuel 21:9

  9. 110

Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Jonathan Protects David, 1 Sam 20| Week 29

In this passage, Jonathan faces a painful choice: stand with his father Saul’s jealousy or align with what God is doing through David. When family loyalty collides with kingdom loyalty, Jonathan chooses covenant faithfulness over comfort. This message reminds us that our highest allegiance must be to God’s Kingdom, even when it costs us approval, reputation, or relationships. Following Christ means putting His purposes first and protecting what God is building instead of tearing it down. The question for us is simple: Where does our loyalty truly lie? Choose God’s Kingdom. Build friendships rooted in calling. Stand courageously with what God is doing.

  10. 109

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | God's Protection, 1 Sam 19:18-24 | Week 28

In 1 Samuel 19:18–24, David runs for his life, but instead of being captured, God turns every attack into a moment of divine interruption. The Spirit of God overwhelms Saul’s messengers, and even Saul himself, proving that no scheme can stop what God has ordained. This passage reminds us that God sovereignly protects His anointed and restrains every enemy plan. When opposition rises, our call isn’t fear or retreat, it’s faithfulness. Trust God’s protection. Keep walking in your calling. What He has purposed cannot be overturned. “The Spirit of God came upon him also…” – 1 Samuel 19:23

    Christian Joy: Suffering, Part 2

In 2 Corinthians 4, Paul reminds us that following Jesus doesn’t spare us from suffering, but it gives our suffering purpose. Although he experiences pain, weakness, and loss, Paul sees it all as worthwhile because of the eternal glory being produced through the Gospel. This message calls us to rethink suffering, not as something to avoid at all costs, but as something God can use for His will. We will suffer in this life; the question is what we suffer for. Let it be for the Gospel and not for things that fade. Also referenced: 1 Peter 4:13–16; Colossians 1:24–25

  12. 107

    Christian Joy_ Suffering, Part 1

This passage teaches us how to walk through life’s trials with joy, not because suffering is easy, but because God is at work through it. Scripture reminds us that not all suffering is bad; some of it is purposeful, shaping and refining us into who God is calling us to be. Instead of fear, complaint, or rejection of God, we’re invited to trust Him in the process. When we see trials through the lens of faith, we discover that God is producing endurance, maturity, and lasting hope in us. “Count it all joy…” – James 1:2

  13. 106

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | David's Escape, 1 Sam 19:1-17 | Week 27

This passage reveals a powerful contrast: Saul is driven by jealousy and fear, while Jonathan walks in obedience, courage, and kingdom love. Jonathan’s faithfulness supports God’s plan even when it costs him position and approval. God advances His mission through those who choose obedience over comfort and faith over fear. This message calls us to lay down jealousy, celebrate God’s work in others, and remain faithful when spiritual battles arise. “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men…” – Colossians 3:23

  14. 105

Prophet, Priest, & Judge | David, Michal, and Saul, 1 Sam 18:17-30 | Week 26

In this passage, Saul is gripped by jealousy and fear, manipulating and attacking David in an effort to hold onto power. But David’s success isn’t tied to position or control. It flows from the presence and favor of God, which no enemy can cancel. This message reminds us: true advancement comes not through striving, but through faithfulness, humility, and obedience. Even when others oppose you, God’s favor will establish you. Choose faithfulness over fear, and keep walking. “The Lord was with David and made him succeed…” – 1 Samuel 18:14

  15. 104

Christian Joy | Community Part 1

James 2 confronts a hard but necessary truth, partiality has no place in the people of God. We're called not to favor the powerful or overlook the overlooked, but to live out the royal law: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” If the Church is going to be a true community, we must reflect the heart of a God who shows no partiality. Real community isn’t built on preferences; it’s built on love. “So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under the law of liberty.” – James 2:12

  16. 103

Prophet, Priest, & Judge | David, Jonathan, and Saul, 1 Sam 18:1-16 | week 25

In this passage, we see three people respond to God’s plans in completely different ways: Jonathan supports them, Saul resists them, and David walks in them and succeeds because God is with him. This message reminds us that being for God means walking in step with His purpose, even when it's costly or hard. If we trust Him and align our lives with His will, we can be confident that He is with us in every circumstance. “The Lord was with David…” – 1 Samuel 18:14

  17. 102

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | David and Goliath, 1 Sam 17 | Week 24

David didn’t face Goliath with human strength; he stood in covenant confidence, knowing the battle belonged to the Lord. While Saul offered armor, David trusted in the anointing. And when he struck the giant down, it wasn’t just a victory for Israel, it was a revelation of what happens when God's people walk in bold faith and spiritual authority. This message will challenge you to recognize the giants confronting your life, reclaim your God-given identity, and step into victory with faith, obedience, and clarity. Are you moving with covenant confidence? “The battle is the Lord’s…” – 1 Samuel 17:47

Foundations Build on the Word of God.

What we feed our hearts will always show up in our lives. Jesus said you know a tree by its fruit, and the foundation we build on reveals whether we’ve truly obeyed Him or just heard His words. A life rooted in Christ doesn’t stand strong because of effort, but because of surrender. Abide in Him. Obey His Word. Let Him bear the fruit. “Abide in me, and I in you… apart from me, you can do nothing.” – John 15:4–5

    Christmas Service

This week we’re in John 1, looking at why the Incarnation matters, not just as a seasonal truth, but as the foundation of our salvation. Jesus didn’t just come, He came as fully God and fully man. Only God could redeem us. Only a man could succeed where Adam and Israel failed. Christmas means more than a manger scene, it means the eternal Word stepped into history to save us. “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us…” – John 1:14

  20. 99

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Saul’s Court, 1 Samuel 16:14-23 | Week 23

In 1 Samuel 16, we see a dramatic shift, God’s Spirit leaves Saul, and a harmful spirit enters in its place. But even in Saul’s unraveling, God is at work. David’s quiet obedience and skillful worship bring him into the palace, not by ambition, but by divine placement. You may not understand what God is doing in your life, but trust this: He’s sovereign over everything. Your call is to obey Him now, so you don’t miss what He’s preparing next. “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace…” – 1 Corinthians 14:33

  21. 98

Treasures in Heaven | Matthew 6:19-21

This week’s message is all about eternal investment. Jesus calls us to store up treasure in heaven, not in things that fade, but in things that last forever. The truth is, we may never fully see the return on our time or our giving this side of eternity… but one day, we will. And when we do, it’ll be worth every second and every sacrifice. We’re not just giving, we’re building. Let’s Build the Church.

  22. 97

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | David Appointed King, 1 Samuel 16:1-13 | Week 22

This week, we’re in the story where God chooses David, the youngest, the overlooked, the least likely, as the next king. Why? Because God sees differently than we do. He delights in using the unexpected to display His power. If it doesn’t make sense to you, that’s okay, trust His way anyway. God knows best, and His plans never miss.

  23. 96

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Saul Rejected, 1 Samuel 15 | Week 21

This week’s message looks at a turning point in Scripture. Saul’s final act of disobedience that leads to his rejection by God. He consistently chose what seemed right in his own eyes and in the eyes of others, but not in the eyes of the Lord. We’re reminded that partial obedience is still disobedience, and the cost is real. God calls us not just to say sorry, but to truly repent, to turn from our ways and walk fully in His. “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” – Matthew 10:38

    Thanksgiving Sunday

This Sunday, we gather not just to give thanks, but to remember the One we’re thanking.Through every season, God has been faithful. In our highs and our lows, His grace has never run out. Thanksgiving isn’t just a holiday,it’s a posture of the heart. Let’s come together as a church family to celebrate His goodness, reflect on what He’s done, and stir up gratitude for what’s still to come. Whether you're walking in joy or waiting in faith, there’s a seat at the table for you. Come ready to give thanks, worship deeply, and be reminded: God has been good. And He’s not done yet. “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” – Psalm 107:1

  25. 94

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge _ Sauls' Foolish Vow, 1 Samuel 14_24-52 _ Week 20

In this week’s message, Saul once again shows us what happens when you lead without trusting God. His foolish oath brings trouble, causes the people to sin, and nearly costs his son Jonathan his life. Disobedience always leads to chaos, but wisdom begins with trusting what God has already revealed in His Word and in Jesus. Don’t follow Saul’s example, follow Christ.

  26. 93

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Jonathan’s Bold Faith, 1 Samuel 14:1-23 | Week 19

In 1 Samuel 14, Jonathan and his armor-bearer take a bold leap of faith. Just the two of them against a Philistine army. But with hearts fully entrusted to God, their small step led to a miraculous victory. When faith is activated through prayer and right motives, the impossible becomes possible. Don’t wait for the numbers, trust God, step out, and believe for the miraculous.

  27. 92

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Jonathan’s Bold Faith, 1 Samuel 14:1-23 | Week 19

Victory doesn’t come from numbers or strength; it comes from bold faith in a powerful God. This week’s message is a call to trust in God’s sovereignty and step out with courage, even when the odds are stacked against you. Faith is what turns the tide. Be bold. Be obedient. Let God fight your battles.

  28. 91

Christian Joy: God's Faithfulness, Part 2

In Matthew 6, Jesus reminds us that if God cares for the birds and flowers, He’ll surely care for us too. His faithfulness isn’t just comforting; it’s our defense against anxiety. But when we don’t trust Him, we risk missing out on His promises and misrepresenting His goodness to the world. Let’s live lives that show peace is possible, because we know who holds tomorrow.

  29. 90

Christian Joy: God's Faithfulness, Part 1

We’re continuing our series on Christian Joy, but this week we’re zooming in on the faithfulness of God. From creation to the cross, and even in our lowest moments. God’s steadfast love has never failed. Let this message lead you to joy rooted not in your circumstances, but in the unchanging character of a faithful God. Scripture focus: 1 John 1:8–9 • Romans 5:7–8 • Romans 3:1–4 • Psalm 136:23–26

  30. 89

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Saul’s First Sin, 1 Sam 13:1-23| Week 18

This week’s message explores what happens when fear takes the lead. In this passage, fear drives control, but faith calls us to wait on God. Even when it feels risky. If you’re tempted to take matters into your own hands, remember this: obedience may feel scary, but it’s the pathway to God’s promises. Fix your eyes on Jesus. His grace meets you even when your faith feels weak.

  31. 88
  32. 87

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Defeating the Ammonites, 1 Sam 11:1-14 | Week 16

In 1 Samuel 11, Saul steps up in the power of God to lead Israel to victory and unity. It’s more than a military win; it’s a picture of what happens when leaders respond with humility, obedience, and mercy. In every crisis, trust the Spirit’s leading, pursue unity, and be bold enough to show compassion.

  33. 86

Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Long Live the King, 1 Sam 10:17-27 | Week 15

In this message, Saul is publicly anointed as king, but not everyone celebrates. Some reject God’s chosen leader, forgetting what God had already done for them. Let’s not be like the worthless men in the story. Let’s remember our deep dependence on God, and honor the One who was despised and rejected for our salvation, Jesus, our true King.

  34. 85

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge |Saul Anointed, 1 Sam 10:1-16 | Week 14

As Saul returns home after being anointed, we see how God’s Spirit leads through prophecy, calling, and obedience. This journey isn’t just about Saul, it’s about how the Spirit works in all of us. Don’t limit what God can do. Seek His Spirit and walk in obedience, you never know what He’s preparing you for.

  35. 84

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge |The New King, 1 Sam 9:1-27 | Week 13

In this week’s message, Saul’s just out looking for lost donkeys, but God is writing a bigger story. Without even realizing it, Saul is being led into a divine appointment that will change everything. Don’t overlook the ordinary,God often works His greatest plans through the smallest moments. Trust that He’s guiding your steps, even on your most mundane days.

  36. 83

Christian Joy | Hope Part 2

In 1 Peter 1:3-9, we’re reminded that our hope in Jesus isn’t just something we understand, it’s something we live. Hope should shape how we speak, how we carry ourselves at home and at work, and how we respond when life gets hard. Real hope doesn’t just look good on paper; it’s meant to be seen, heard, and felt by the world around us.

  37. 82

Christian Joy | Hope Part 1

The world offers a lot of false hope, but in Christ, we have a hope that’s unshakable. 1 Peter 1:3-9 reminds us that our hope isn’t wishful thinking; it’s a guarantee from the God who has never broken a promise. Put your hope in Jesus, you won’t be disappointed.

  38. 81

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge |Rejecting God, 1 Sam 7:15-8:22 | Week 12

In 1 Samuel 7:15–8:22, Israel chooses a human king over God, trading divine leadership for something they could see and control. It’s a powerful reminder of the tension between trusting God’s rule and giving in to the world’s ways. Don’t let fear or pressure lead you to crown something else king. God is the only one truly worthy of that throne.

  39. 80

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge |Repentance and Deliverance, 1 Sam 7:3-14 | Week 11

This week’s message is all about the beauty of coming back to God. When we return, He restores, it’s that simple, and that powerful. As we walk through what it means to truly turn back to Him, let it stir fresh gratitude for what He’s already restored in you, and fresh hope for what’s still to come.

  40. 79

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Returning the Ark, 1 Sam 6:1-7:2 | Week 10

The Ark returns to Israel, but this moment reveals more than just a homecoming. It shows us how both outsiders and insiders misunderstand God’s holiness. We don’t worship Him on our terms. When God exposes us, it’s not to shame us,it’s to draw us closer through repentance, purity, and reverence. He’s a God who loves deeply and judges rightly.Every lie falls before Him. So don’t just let God reside, let Him rule. Tear down every rival.

  41. 78

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Yahweh is Greater, 1 Sam 5:1-12 | Week 9

After Israel’s defeat, the Philistines captured the Ark and placed it in their temple as a trophy, symbolizing their god’s victory over Israel’s. But God will not be mocked. Like the Ark, Jesus was mocked and presumed defeated, but while in the grave, He was conquering. Every idol, every power, every lie falls before Him. So don’t just let God reside, let Him rule. Tear down every rival.

  42. 77

    The Gospel We Keep Forgetting

This week, we’re going back to the beginning,Genesis 1–3, to remember the story we so often forget. Like Israel, we lose sight of who God is and who we are: created with purpose, broken by sin, and desperately in need of rescue. The Good News? We can’t save ourselves, but Jesus already has.

  43. 76

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Woe to us!, 1 Sam 4:1-11 | Week 7

This week’s message is a sobering one—God’s judgment falls on those who try to use His presence while ignoring their own disobedience. God isn’t a tool for personal gain. True faith begins with repentance, surrender, and letting Jesus be Lord over every part of our lives—not just the parts we’re comfortable with.

  44. 75

    Baptism Sunday

This week’s message comes straight from Ephesians 2:1–10—a clear picture of the Gospel. We were dead in our sins, but God made us alive in Christ. It’s all grace, not works, and now we’ve been created for good—so let’s live like it!

  45. 74

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | Samuel's Call, 1 Sam 3:1-21 | Week 6

This week’s message is all about reclaiming a missional mindset—where giving isn’t a side thought, but a shared responsibility. Mission isn’t for a few; it’s for all of us. Let’s give not out of guilt, but from grace—because this mission is ours to carry, and ours to finish.

  46. 73

Tithing: A Right View of Missions | Week 4

This week’s message is all about reclaiming a missional mindset—where giving isn’t a side thought, but a shared responsibility. Mission isn’t for a few; it’s for all of us. Let’s give not out of guilt, but from grace—because this mission is ours to carry, and ours to finish.

  47. 72

Tithing: A Right View of Laborers | Week 3

We’re talking about something that’s both biblical and practical supporting those who serve in ministry. Scripture says the worker is worthy of their wages, and our giving isn’t just obedience, it's a blessing to the Church and to ourselves. This isn’t about guilt—it’s about growth. Let’s rethink our financial faithfulness in light of God’s design for His Church.

  48. 71

Tithing: A Right View of Church | Week 2

This week, we’re talking about tithing and how it reveals the way we see the church. Is it God’s house or just another stop on your weekly to-do list? When we give, we’re not just funding a building we’re fueling a mission. Let’s shift from consumers to co-laborers and give in a way that honors Jesus. Listen in to hear more.

  49. 70

Tithing: A Right View of Money | Week 1

We’re talking about money, but not the way the world does. God owns it all, and we’re called to use it for His purposes, not just our own. Ready for a heart check? Let’s learn what it really means to store up treasure in heaven! Listen to hear more!

  50. 69

    Prophet, Priest, & Judge | A House Rejected, 1 Sam 2:27-36 | Week 5

In 1 Samuel, God confronts Eli for honoring his sons over Him—and it costs him everything. God doesn’t take second place. He’s raising up people who will honor Him above all else. Let’s talk about what it means to live with that kind of reverence and respond to His call. Listen to hear more.
