Shaping Context

Energy is per definition a topic sitting in the intersection of politics, technology and economics. It defines how advanced a civilization is and to a large extent, what it can do. Therefore, taking a closer look at the context involved with it can uncover important information about the future of, well, humanity. Because of that, in this series we are looking at the current political situation and the connection to energy issues, take a deep dive in the technological background of energy sources and tackle the question of what is the best strategy for energy production from an economics view.

In this last part of our series on AI products, we debate on three different perspectives on that matter: Regulation - whether it can help or hinder the development of AI products, focusing on the example of the EU AI Act ; Monetization - whether it it actually possible to make money with AI and if so, under what conditions; And Work - whether AI products transform work and if so, to what extent. In the interview part of our second series on the topic of AI products and the future of (artificial) intelligence, we are very glad and excited to host Omkar Pimple, founder and CEO of Myracle and co-founder of QAI, both acclaimed, cutting-edge products using AI as a substantial ingredient - and we get to pick his brain and experience about what makes a successful AI product, where to draw the line between (AI) hype and (business) reality, and what's in the horizon for AI.

In this episode, we discuss technological progress in the AI field and how it translates into usefulness in business (or not?!), as well as how and if it has improved overall processes. We will retrospectively look back at the dot-com bloom and the similarities and differences to this hype.In the current discussion about AI, where the business has entered into a phase of disillusionment, the big question is in our opinion: What makes up successful AI products? What factors does this success depend on?
