#7 When You Can’t Silence Your Need for God

This episode of explores the profound impact of truly knowing God, emphasizing that such an encounter makes it impossible to silence one’s need for Him. It contrasts knowing about God with knowing Him personally, highlighting how genuine knowledge transforms the heart and leads to a deeper dependence on Him.Keanna is encouraging listeners to embrace their need for God, recognizing it as a source of strength and wisdom rather than weakness. The Gospel of John most clearly teaches the deity and preexistence of Christ. John provides proof, to reach unbelievers.  This gospel is different from Matthew, Mark, and Luke. It does not focus on the miracles, parables, and speeches. Instead, John emphasizes Jesus' identity as the son of God, and because of this… As believers, we are called to respond. Peter wasn’t just repeating doctrine when he said in John 6:68, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” He was speaking from experience. He had walked with Jesus, heard His voice, seen His power, and encountered something no one else could offer.True strength lies in dependence on God, not self-sufficiency. The world may praise independence, but the Kingdom of God honors surrender and acknowledges our need for Him. Embracing our dependence on God leads to power, peace, and fruitfulness, and enables us to stand firm in our faith despite challenges and opposition.📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/

#6 "Jesus Wept" - When Healing Hasn't Come Yet

In this week’s episode, we reflect on one of the most intimate and powerful moments in Scripture—when Jesus stands at Lazarus’s tomb and weeps. Not out of fear or doubt, but from a place of deep compassion and presence. In John 11, we see a Savior who doesn’t rush past our pain or dismiss our emotions. Instead, He meets us right in the middle of our grief—before bringing restoration. This episode is for anyone navigating loss, waiting on God, or holding faith and heartbreak at the same time. It’s a gentle reminder that you are not alone in what you feel—and that even in the waiting, Jesus is near.Scripture Focus: John 11:33–35 (ESV)“When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in his spirit and greatly troubled. And he said, ‘Where have you laid him?’ They said to him, ‘Lord, come and see.’ Jesus wept.”If you’ve been carrying something heavy, this is your invitation to pause, breathe, and remember—you are not alone here.🎧 Tune in and be reminded of the Savior who stays present in your pain and faithful in His promises.📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/

#5 Resting in His Presence and Power

In this episode, we’re reminded of a powerful truth that can anchor us in any season: Jesus is both intimately near and completely sovereign. He is not distant from your struggles or detached from your pain—He steps into it, sits with you in it, and walks you through it. At the same time, He is fully in control, reigning with authority over every circumstance, every delay, and every unknown you’re facing. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, weary from carrying too much for too long, or uncertain about what lies ahead, this devotional offers a space to pause and breathe. It gently invites you to release the pressure of having it all figured out and instead rest in the steady, unchanging nature of who Jesus is.Anchor Scripture: Matthew 28:18–20•“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me…” (His power)•“And surely I am with you always…” (His presence)You’ll be encouraged to lean into His presence—not just as a distant hope, but as a present help. To trust that the same Savior who understands your deepest emotions is also strong enough to sustain you, guide you, and carry what you cannot. This episode is a reminder that you are not alone, not forgotten, and not beyond His reach.Come as you are—tired, searching, hopeful, or hurting—and rediscover the peace that comes from knowing He is both close enough to comfort you and powerful enough to hold your entire story.📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/

#4 Prepare Me as I Go, Not Before I Go

In this episode, we explore the truth that faith doesn’t always come with a full plan. Sometimes God calls us to move before we feel ready, trusting that He will equip us along the way.Through the stories of Abraham, Moses, and Peter, we’ll unpack how obedience often comes before clarity—and how God prepares us in the process of walking with Him.If you’ve ever felt stuck between preparation and action, this conversation is a reminder that sometimes the breakthrough happens after the first step.So if you’re waiting to feel ready, remember this:God doesn’t always prepare you before you go—sometimes He prepares you as you go.📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/

#3 Do It Unto the Lord—Even When No One Sees

This week’s episode is for the woman whose faithfulness is quiet — but never invisible to God.For the homemaker. For the wife. For the mom.For the woman prayerfully holding her home together with grace, patience, and Holy Spirit strength. In a culture that celebrates what’s seen — platforms, productivity, applause — it’s easy to start believing that what happens behind closed doors doesn’t matter. The laundry. The meals. The late nights. The emotional weight you carry. The whispered prayers over your children. The steady consistency no one stops to applaud. But Scripture anchors us in truth:“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men…” —  Colossians 3:23When your service is offered unto the Lord, the ordinary becomes sacred. What feels small becomes worship. And the unseen places become holy ground. If you’ve ever wondered whether your quiet faithfulness counts — this episode is for you.📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/

#2 Where Are You? - The Question That Still Finds Us

This honest episode explores the subtle patterns of retreat and spiritual hiding that can surface in our walk with God. Through reflective devotion, listeners are invited to gently examine where they’ve pulled back — and to rediscover the covering and grace God offers even in moments of withdrawal.🤍 “Where are you?” It’s the first question God asks after the fall — not because He lacked awareness, but because He desired their hearts. In this episode, we uncover why we push away, where fear leads us to hide, and how God still comes near, faithfully calling us by name.📝 Take time this week to journal. Ask yourself: – Where do I tend to hide? – What spiritual disciplines have I neglected? – How can I intentionally step back under God’s covering? If this blessed you, share it with someone who might be in that same ‘pushing away’ season.Until next time… stay covered, stay close, and keep pressing forward.--🎙 She Who Believed  is back.A new season.A deeper faith. The same belief that He still can.📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/

But shaping. And now, I’m finally ready to press forward—not with perfection, but with purpose.🎙 She Who Believed  is back.A new season.A deeper faith. The same belief that He still can.Thank you for being here, for waiting, and for walking this journey of faith with me. Pressing Forward into 2026: Faithful, Not Rushed

Choosing faithfulness over speed and trusting God to finish what He started. As I step into 2026, pressing forward isn’t about rushing—it’s about remaining. Drawing from James 1:4, this episode reminds us that perseverance has a purpose. God uses delays, stretching seasons, and unanswered prayers not to diminish us, but to mature and complete us.Pressing forward means trusting God’s process when progress feels slow, choosing obedience when the outcome isn’t clear, and believing that God is forming depth, not just delivering relief. When we allow perseverance to finish its work, we discover that nothing in our lives is wasted when surrendered to Him.This episode invites you to stay rooted, keep saying yes, and trust that when God completes His work in you, you won’t be lacking anything you need for what’s next.📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/

Where I’ve been, Response to God, Church Hurt, Morning Devotional, Focusing Forward

Hey girl, hey!! It's been way too long. But before we get into all of the things, I wanted to preface the podcast with a previously recorded morning devotional.  (Recorded 04/02/24)Believing Bigger: Unleash Your Faith by Marshawn Evans Daniels This is a raw and real response to God after running from what and who didn't work in my life. It's a realization that I refused to accept: Denying God.   Keep listening... as I reveal more about this!On another note, I've been reflecting on the podcast and my desire to return to it—understanding that the Lord encourages me to start anew. I yearn for community and accountability, knowing that I need to hold myself accountable for the commitments I previously made. I realize now that it’s crucial to differentiate between solitude and isolation. While solitude can be temporary and conditional, isolation can become a place of hopelessness. Let’s focus on being mindful that our situations can change at a moment’s notice, and never lose sight of seeking hope.As I seek God with a heart of grace while starting this new chapter, I trust that help will be along the way. Let’s commit to releasing our past and returning with renewed vigor and faith. But until next time (very soon) girlfriend, holllaaaaa!! 📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/

    Bonus: 2022 Most Played Episode

HEY GIRL, HEY!! HAPPY NEW YEAR. Let's run it back to the most-played episode of 2022. But before we do, it is truly something to celebrate the birth of someone or something, but to celebrate the death of something [not in the occurrence] but in its passing. Passing of old habits, thought processes, mindsets, belief systems, and more.Thanking God that old things do pass away. 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone's in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!"  (NIV) [New Things: spiritual awakenings bring a new life] Here is Episode 60: "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine" - This hymn is a wonderful way to introduce and teach young ones (and old ones) about faith and confidence in Jesus!Cheers to walking into 2023 with faith and confidence in our Lord and savior. The Birth Story of She Believed He Could + Update!

On this bonus episode, Keanna is back before you on the mic to share this morning's daily devotional and to share the birth story of She Believed He Could!! She Believed He Could - birthed from a mindset shift! In the world today you've seen the infamous quote, "She believed she could, so she did!" Well, I didn't believe this and I never did a lot of things because of my old way of thinking. As a woman of faith, I begin to shift the perception unto this now declaration! I decreed and declared for women in marriage, motherhood, and ministry to believe again - by embracing the struggles to empower our faith. It has now grown into a movement of women “shifting our mindsets” with a focus on relationships. All starting from a place of change. She Believed He Could, is a declaration of faith changing the focus from off ourselves to seeing God for who He truly is. As a community of women, we are all doing the groundwork for this mission to go forth. God has been cultivating our hearts in the process! A process that values self-identification, embracing struggles, applying God’s promises, willingness to chase courage, believing over proving, and overall empowering our faith. Because truly, we all have some groundwork to process. It is indeed a process; that I am trusting! -As you all may know we just finished up our second series of the "HEY GRL. Mind Your Mindset!"  and "mannn, we had a time over the last (6) weeks!" But now as we close one chapter to embark on some other things, Keanna also shares about her upcoming social media fast [Sept. 24 - Oct. 1] as she prepares and purpose a smaller and more intimate community outside of social media. So, get excited sis. Inside our community, we have our 21-days of daily devotional challenges, monthly bible studies, LIVE Q&A chats, and so much more! #comingsoonPlease be sure to sign up for our email list on our website for more information!Scripture of the Day:"If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall." - 1 Corin 10:12-Bible Reference: 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 NLT"If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. Called to Be The Light + Honoring the Light of Diamond DeYampert

This episode is honor and life of the beautiful light found, Diamond DeYampert, Pastor of The Freedom Room - “Thee Reverend Bestie”(rest in heaven)Sitting here just a little after 10 pm... scrolling on my personal Instagram because, to be honest, I often forget to check in over there outside of the podcast page. While scrolling I am reminded that life is precious and timely as I stumble across a heartbroken post. Not that it was personal for me, but a beautiful face had my curious mind in wonder… “Why the heartbreak?” Well, I soon discovered The Freedom Room page out of Detroit. Curiously enough l started to read and acknowledge some amazing work of the Lord be done. At this time I was still wasn’t sure who the pretty face was on account of what I was looking at. A few moments later and a couple of posts later…  I realized that the pretty face was the pastor and founder!! Wow. Of course, I wanted to find her personal Instagram page to see more of whom I had just discovered. As I look upon her story unfolding in the delight of things chosen to be publicly shared. I was deeply encouraged by the fight, her fight at the goodness of the Lord. Looking at what was exposed was quickly admired and recognized as impact. I was moved and greatly appreciated for willingness and courage to not only be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ; but the light amid her darkness, her community, and the beloved city of Detroit. While my eyes were open to see the beautiful Diamond DeYampert, my heart ached because it was only in her death. What a purpose of leaving here in life that even in death; there will be LIGHT!! I am completely honored to know her name. Not in life, but light. FOREVER. Fly high sis. The Posture of Faith [Pt. 2]

Hey girl, hey! We are back for part two of The Posture of Faith as Keanna continue to share how she asked God to reveal to her the posture of our Faith and God highlighted three words: Desperation (pt. 1)Determination Demonstration The origin of the root word ation is an action or process / the result of it.As Keanna studied the origin and biblical meaning of these words, ultimately she did not think they were in any order, but who she was I kidding. God is a God of ORDER!!!!Bible Reference: Luke 5:17-20God expects us to be concerned. This is an expectation of Him for us. God wants us to act, but he desires that we come to him first, in prayer, for guidance and direction. Determination: setting (surrounding):strength of will strength of character strength of purpose Plans are meaningless if they’re never executed!Nehemiah was a man of prayer and action.-Listen on Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, Spotify, Buzzsprout, iheart radio, Pandora, and now on the She Believed He Could buzzsprout site: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1359799Hey sis! Meet Camille: I AM VALUABLE“I never saw value in myself. I always viewed myself as less than and didn’t think I had much to offer. It wasn’t until I started a true relationship with God, that I started to see myself like He sees me. Now, not only do I see value. But I know my worth, my strengths, and my purpose.”-Bible Reference: Matthew 6:26 CSVConsider the birds of the sky: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you worth more than they? The Message Version. If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don’t fuss about what’s on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. Bonus: I AM HEALED x Jade Ware

Meet Jade: I AM HEALED“For a time, I felt me being at my absolute best was too much, for what I discovered are small minded people. I thought the light within me was a nuisance to society and that it was preferable or a path of least resistance to simply fit in. I fought what the LORD was revealing to me as love. He showed me, to fight myself was to fight him. To diminish what I think about myself, diminishes how powerful the Lord is and that broke my heart. So I threw up my white flag, which to me, meant letting go of my worldly expectations and thinking. Which resulted in me learning to trust fully in the Lord, because there was no other word or opinion to move from.Over time and in due Jesus showed me why he tore the veil. So that his people could know the truth about themselves which meant knowing the Heavenly Father. My new understanding of who God is, healed how I see myself. So instead of fighting me, I celebrate all of the things the Lord has poured inside of me.”-Bible Reference: 1 Peter 2:24 NLTHe personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. The Message Version: This is the kind of life you have been invited into; the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and also know how to do it, step-by-step. He never did one thing wrong, Not once said anything amiss....#affirmationoftheday📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/

Are you Fighting the Validation of Others? Take the Sword!

Hey girl, hey! On this episode Keanna is combating the principalities of exhaustion, discouragement, and confusion when up against the validation of others. "Why do I feel like I have to validate who you are called to be?" - Keanna thought. In this Christian life, we battle against rulers and authorities (the most powerful evil forces of fallen angels headed by the devil) who is a vicious fighter. But to withstand their attacks, we must depend on God's strength  and use every piece of his armor. Let’s define Validation: recognition of affirmation that a person or their feelings/opinions are validBible Text: Ephesians 6:10-17 "and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."Combat Validation for/from others with Your sword:Exhaustion < Matthew 11:28Discouragement < Isaiah 42:16Confusion < Proverbs 3:5Listen on Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, Spotify, Buzzsprout, iheart radio, Pandora, and now on the She Believed He Could buzzsprout site: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1359799Hey sis! Bible 101: Reading Your Word is Practical and Spiritual

Hey girl, Hey! BONUS EPISODE: Reading Your Word: Practical and SpiritualBible reading started out for me in search of practical. I knew what I had walked through, life experiences, and struggles. I knew what I had seen my mom go through and dealing with her own struggles throughout my childhood. I was looking for answers. So I found myself reading from the very places of brokenness, emptiness, sadness, trauma, rejection, and abandonment. I was searching for the justification behind my pain, my circumstances, or my actions!I was reading to prove WHY;but never THE who.” Practical: concerned with the facts and real life experience (application piece to relation)Spiritual: relationship between God and man (holiness, gift of the spirit, discipline)Revelation: the revealing of something previously hidden or secret (surprising/valuable)Bible Reference: Proverbs 16:2-3-Listen on Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, Spotify, Buzzsprout, iheart radio, Pandora, and now on the She Believed He Could buzzsprout site: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1359799Hey sis! Your Desire to Surrender to God + Prayer

Hey girl! On this episode we are in the book of James 4:7-8 📖 "So humble yourselves before God, yield to his authority, and commit your life to his control and be willing to follow Him. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts for your loyalty is divided between God and the world."As Keanna reflects on an encounter she had on Skid Row with a woman named Georgina. She was reminded of her own pit and how the season of unwillingness resembled a lot like Georgina's.Although, their paths are different in size, color, shape, and distance. The Desire to Surrender is NOT. What did surrender look like to you?Sis, will you pray with us as we lift up the name Georgina and all of our brothers and sisters on Skid Row?Bible Text Reference: Hebrews 4:16-Listen on Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, Spotify, Buzzsprout, iheart radio, Pandora, and now on the She Believed He Could buzzsprout site: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1359799Hey sis! Let's talk about the Detours of Your Life

Hey girl, HEY! Welcome to another episode of the SBHC podcast. After a few weeks off the show, your host Keanna went away on a week long mission trip to the city of Los Angeles!Over the next few episodes, she will begin to talk about her time away and share some of the fresh revelation that has opened her eyes to the common realities from a spiritual lens!  "Distracted in Preparation Creates Detour!" - Keanna Price And, if we are not careful the enemy will use those detours of life to destroy the goodness of God and our faith to Believe in good.God highlighted three men in the bible who encountered mighty detours within their own callings. But God still called and chose them to fulfill His plans and His will:David was distracted by pleasure (lust): A man after God’s own heart; doesn’t mean perfection. But because he was hungry for God, he sought after God, he had a passion for spiritual things, and he tried to please God despite his failures.Abraham was distracted by fear and uncertainty (doubt): God called him to Father of many nations. God knew that Abraham would struggle with the call set before him, but He also knew that his struggle would produce great growth and faith.Moses was distracted by frustration (overwhelm): An intercessor. The job God called Moses to do was full of difficulties and challenges. Moses never hid his emotions and questions from God.Bible Text Reference: For many are called, but few are chosen. - Matthew 22:14-Listen on Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, Spotify, Buzzsprout, iheart radio, Pandora, and now on the She Believed He Could buzzsprout site: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1359799Hey sis! The Pursuit of Not being in Position for Purpose

Hey girl, HEY! On this episode, grab your bibles and let’s talk purpose, position, and the pursuit of God.Bible text reference: Judges 20: 18-30It’s not that we have to go and find purpose or do all of the things for purpose, but to be obedient in the pursuit of God. He will allow and instruct us on where we should go and the position of where we should be. Despite what it look like for us and how it may feel.We can not let the circumstances drive us into defeat. We can not give up or be so worn down and beat down that we completely stop pursuing God.Our purpose is radiated in your pursuit of God.In our willingness to go forth, God sees faithfulness to do, go, and be all of what He has shown us or told us by faith. God will give you victory.-Listen on Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, Spotify, Buzzsprout, iheart radio, Pandora, and now on the She Believed He Could website.Checkout our website: http://www.shebelievedhecould.orgStay connected by email: [email protected] SBHC on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/shebelievedhecould/📧 Stay connected, join newsletter:  https://she-who-believed.kit.com/

How to adjust The Lens of Your Perspective

Hey girl, HEY! Don't you believe that God only want what is best for us?On this episode, Keanna is sharing revelation hot off the press  about the present time where she thought a certain change would only present a problem. But God, He represented to her the provision that adjusted her perspective to now see through the lens of her FAITH!Our bible tells us in Romans, that God's will is good, pleasing, and perfect. So when asking for God's will to be done in your heart and in your life. We just have to know that in the same breathe, God already has provision. God knows the plans and the purpose that He has CALLED ON YOUR LIFE.Reference Bible text: "Do not be conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing, and perfect will." -  Romans 12: 2 (NLT)-Becoming YOU - The Virtual Women of Faith Empowerment Conference:Sis, your best is yet to come.
