Shelter From Oblivion

SNL just celebrated 50 years, so Andy and Matt (with Lisa taking the day off) are hunkering down in the shelter to salute comedy’s most legendary rejects. This episode shines a spotlight on the stars who got turned away from SNL only to bounce back and create cultural icons. From Jim Carrey’s In Living Color antics to Pee-wee Herman’s Playhouse madness, we’re celebrating the underdogs who flipped rejection into red-carpet careers. Andy and Matt are back in the shelter....feels like they've done this before. Well this is our very very late Mother's Day episode. So late its now past Fathers Day. So we thought the best way to celebrate Mother's Day is to watch Mr. Mom, a movie about a man that learns how hard it is to be one. Now-a-days we would just call the movie Mr. Parent, but this was 1983 folks. You will also meet Lisa, our new AI voice assistant. She's a clever bot that LOVES her job. She's going to fit right in.
