You know, I'm starting to enjoy these unannounced, extended hiatuses. Anyway, here's part three of our scuffology series, where Randy Dalby and 2x defending UWIFFs champion Ryan Mcelrath come on to speak about less technical approaches to assaulting wiffleballs. FYI Ryan's mic is messed up for like the first minute or so that he speaks and is then fine thereafter. Enjoy!

It's been almost 9 months since a pitch was thrown in the PLW, but finally, three months after learning that the league found a new home, Adam Tanic, Greg Kelly, and Kyle Loman join the show to discuss PLW's current status, its PCL sister league, and the short and long term prospects of the league. Despite me pressing, there's still no set date for opening day, but after visiting the place myself, I can tell you that construction is moving at a steady pace and things are looking good...

We're continuing our toastless saga on the art of scuffing with noted scuffologist Dan Whitner (aka Virginia Ham) and Johnathan Wiffleball who, admittedly doesn't know anything about scuffing but sure has used a number of different scuffs over the years. On yet ANOTHER toastless episode, Stein sits down with the (OG) Good Squad to discuss the origins, current state, and future prospects of the franchise. We also speculate about the nature of Douggie Baker's disturbingly dystopian basement and make some predictions about the nature of the game moving forward

In the first of who the hell knows how many parts, Stein is joined by Sean Steffy and Tom Gannon to discuss the most basics of scuffology, their personal pet projects, and the wildest things that they've ever tried to make the ball move just a little bit more. Toast, despite receiving notification of the episode days in advance, could not be found for comment. Welp...we're back. Fuck. It's been a year long hiatus which is a perfect excuse to do a "this year in wiffs" review. We've been waiting a while for this one - and for these guests. Wiffleball mega-legends Kevin Norris and Sean Steffy join us to talk about the the 2021 UWIFFs format. I'll be frank, I've never heard either of these two speak so passionately about a format...that's normally my job. Wouldn't ya know things got so detailed that we needed to schedule a second episode. So if things feel rushed, don't worry, we've got more to go.

It was a bit of a long break but look, I made you some content! Jay Ventresca and Matt Ventimiglia sit down with breadmon and FJ to talk about the changes that wiffs has gone through over the last two decades, and they even provide a nice little preview for our next episode, in which we will do an in depth breakdown of the UWIFFs format. Hotguy Cam smith joins the small group of elites who have appeared on the show three times...and this time he's brought a new hot guy with him. Grant Miller of *insert middle of god damn nowhere name* Michigan enters the booth to talk about his experience playing with the east coast boys for the first (and second) time. We're just ramping up for what could be one of the greatest wiffle seasons of all tyne. CAMAN.

Welp, ew finally made it. A year of straight up bullshit that fucked our opening day up is in the rear view and we have *proper* wiffs again. Joined by Red, Kenny Stengel, and Collin Pen..Prentis..Per-ren...tis? He joins us too. We break down what happened on OD and talk the future of MAW. It's another relaxed fit episode!

To celebrate 50 episodes of America's premier wiffle podcast we decided to try something a little different and I gotta say...it went way more smoothly than I thought. Prefaced by our discussion with living legend Pat Leahy, this week's episode dives in to one of the original wiffle franchises - The 603 Allstars. We get the polar bear himself, along with boomah, and two new recruits to see wheat the past, present, and future of this franchise looks like. Oh and Gary shit his pants once. SICK.

Remember when Connor Young used to be the cohost of this show? Yeah, neither does anyone else. Somehow, some way, we allowed him to come back on the show alongside reoccurring guest Kenny Rodgers Jr. to talk about Erl, MAW, UWIFF 2021, and...well honestly I don't remember because I was fully ZONKED for this one. Sean Steffy (aka WB28) opens up about how he put together a high caliber team of veterans that, despite falling short for a national ship, won a number of events and ruined my day many, many times.

Nothing better than a good ol' history lesson, especially when it's one on pitching. Toast and I sit down with wiff legend Pat Leahy to talk about the evolution of pitching in wiffs, his favorite memories, and that time I threw the greatest pitch of all time. He doesn't remember it, but taking a pitch like that will wipe your memory MIB style, I promise.

In what may very well be the greatest wiffleball podcast episode in the history of wiffleball podcasts, Stein and Toast tackle four guests. On the first half of the show we sit down with Tom Gannon and Adam Tanic as they break down their attempt to claim the Guinness world record for longest wiffleball game ever played. And then...it gets wild as Uncle JSlick himself makes history by being the first three-time guest. Oh, and there's someone with him this week to tell Stein just how wrong he really is about the Phenoms...

We finish up our two part saga on the OPEN, this time hearing from (half of) the LumberJacks. Uncle JSlick himself makes his second appearance on the show and he shares his thoughts on the infamous radar gun moment, but we also talk about MAW, UWIFF, and the implications of the MASSIVE shakeups in GSWL yard. You don't wanna miss this one, folks.

The GSWL OPEN came and went and in its wake we are left with very few surprises. After a small hiatus Stein and Toast welcome Danny Haverty back along with teammate Jimmy Flynn to discuss the event as a whole, their aspirations for UWIFF, and, of course, the infamous top 12 game that lead to Game Over pulling the radar gun out on Josh Pagano.

The MAW title belt is back in the studio...only this time it's held by a different team. We welcome Gino Joseph (who sounds freakishly like Connor) and Brice Clark into the studio to hear about how this team full of unpolished players managed to beat the crap out of some of the best teams in the world. Unrelated, good luck to everyone at Staten Island this weekend!

As we get closer and closer to playoffs around the country, and inevitable the UWIFFS event, toast and I sit down with the Tim and Ryan Mcelrath to discuss how they feel about being two established stars in the game, as well as how they feel their odds are at taking down a national ship.  We also talk about Tim's new vlog series, which is awesome if you haven't seen it yet.

In what has surely been the most true resurgence of Fast Pitch since 2009, there are a lot of teams, old and new, coming out of the woodwork to play in UWIFFS. One team that's been making a lot of noise is a group of fellas from Texas known as the Whiskey Ducks. New teams usually either flame or flop in big events like UWIFFS, which one will the Ducks be?

We're back with another team-focused episode. This time we've got JD and Brian "Winny" Nguyen of the New York Throwbacks. I came up with both of these guys and they're just about as real as they come. The team has struggled a bit in 2020 but that don't mean shit when it comes to the big dance. Hold on to your DAK cause we got a live one here, folks.

It's another weird one on Shut up Stein this week as I go one-on-one with notorious degenerate Gerard "JIRRY" Fitzgerald. What's funny is he was supposed to be our guest last week but had to back out. Toast ripped him to shreds over it. Yet, somehow, Toast didn't manage to show up for this one. Will these two every lock horns?! Honestly, who cares?

Y'all remember when toast quit? Well...not quit..took a break to go bang other podcasters? The reason for that was because I made an oopsie in talking about UWIFFS a day early. Finally, after weeks of trying to get someone on the show to talk about it, we managed to wrangle us a FUG. Now, I know what you're thinking: what about the MYSTERY guest?! Well, he crapped out like a punk bitch in the street, so we won't hear from him until next week. In the mean time I think you'll enjoy what we had to say about UWIFF, GSWL, and, of course, FUG's 45 year old bottle of Teacher's Scotch.

Is Seanathon Steffy the biggest name in the history of wiffleball? I'm not sure, and I don't think he is either, but you're not going to want to miss what he had to say about his past as Wiffleboy28, his present as Steffy 28, and his future as...I don't know, Wifflejawn28? It's another history lesson today, folks. Strap in for a conversation of what it's like to deal with wiffle injuries, expectations, and championships as we feature yet another all time great on the show. Oh! Shit! Also, we're gonna get into the bit of drama that happened at MAW opening day. Straight from the pitcher's mouth on this one!

Where did wiffleball's favorite team, Way too Beautiful, get their name from? The answer will make you cringe. This episode features Adam "Milzy" Milsted and Ian Crosby to discuss where the team originated, what they're doing now, and how confident they feel about the upcoming UWIFF event. This was one of my most favorite conversations to date, lots of reminiscing, and lots of high quality wiff talk.

It's our first ever sidearm story from someone not named Stein...unfortunately its from someone named Connor. And even more unfortunate, he's responding to the toxic wiffs episode with a HEAVY level of toxicity. And even MORE unfortunate he couldn't muster the enthusiasm to break the two minute mark, and as a result I had to fill the missing three minutes with my fact checking. Honestly it's a horrible fucking mess and I STRONGLY advise you not to listen to this episode.

Ahhh. nothing like digging into the catacombs of wiff history (aka wiffstory) to pull out isolated incidence where some guy you don't like didn't do as well as he could have. How much is too much? When does a rivalry become something more...toxic? I sit down with Danny Haverty and Danny Whitener to talk about their pasts, their current beefs, and, of course, who had the more frustrating defeat at a NCT. Oh and toast is...back now?
