⭐️ RUDRAKSH, RITUALS & THE MOUNTAIN ROADS OF UTTARAKHAND ⭐️ A passage through Haridwar and Dehradun
A passage through Haridwar and Dehradun 🚩🏔️This journey began in Haridwar — where faith is not just devotion, but a living rhythm of everyday life. 🔔 Along the ghats, temple bells blended with the sounds of old bazaars, copperware shops, incense smoke, astrology houses, and generations-old rudraksh traders. We spent time with Haridwar’s hereditary genealogical pandas 📜 — guardians of handwritten ancestral records and oral family histories preserved across centuries. We also explored how authentic rudraksh beads are identified through natural mukhi divisions, texture, density, and formation — where spirituality meets careful observation. As the roads curved toward Dehradun 🚗🌿, the atmosphere softened. Colonial-era valleys, tea stalls, quieter streets, and slower conversations replaced the intense movement of pilgrimage towns. The food changed with the landscape too — from Haridwar’s crispy kachoris, rich rabri, and smoky roadside chai ☕ to deeper pahadi flavours shaped by mountain air and colder terrain. This was more than a road trip through Uttarakhand — it was a journey through ritual, commerce, memory, food, and landscape, all continuously shaping one another across rivers, cities, and rising elevation. 🏞️✨🌐 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/shwetas_talkies/🎧 Spotify Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/34iungbq80RSogBRc6zkrr💼 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shwetasatpathy/📘 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61572020330682🐦 Twitter/X: https://x.com/shwetas_talkies?s=21🎬 Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/user229859187👻 Snapchat: https://www.snapchat.com/add/shwetastalkies📌 Pinterest: https://in.pinterest.com/shwetastalkies/#Uttarakhand #Haridwar #Dehradun #Rudraksh #TravelIndia #PahadiCulture #SpiritualJourney #IndianHeritage #RoadTripIndia #MountainStories #ShwetasTalkies #History

How Did He Lose 84 Villages and End Up in Jail? 😳
84 Villages Lost. 34 Years Sober. The Truth About Addiction. Navin Ansal speaks with exceptional honesty about power, privilege, and the quiet erosion of control. An established legacy businessman, once a feudal lord, and a former alcoholic, he had access, influence, and every advantage. Yet addiction found its way in, not as a crisis, but as a slow, almost invisible shift. This is not a story about alcohol. It is a story about control, denial, and reconstruction.Raised in an environment where excess was normalised, the descent did not announce itself. It evolved. Amid a period of external unrest, including the backdrop of Punjab’s turbulence, the real turning point remained internal. What followed was devastating:🔹 Personal relationships deteriorated 💔🔹 Personality and decision-making changed under alcohol 🧠🔹 Inherited assets were lost — including 84 villages 🏚️🔹 Arrests across geographies, including drunk driving in Malibu 🚔🔹 Detention in Delhi and external chaos amid unrest in Punjab ⚠️🔹 Family enablement and social stigma deepened the cycle 😔Through a 12 step program, he began the long, disciplined journey of rebuilding. In this deeply revealing conversation, we explore How addiction reshapes personality and decision making The weight of social stigmaAnd the rigour required to sustain sobriety over decades34 years later, this is no longer recovery. This is transformation. This episode is for anyone trying to understand:🍷 Alcohol addiction🧠 Addiction psychology🙏 12-step recovery💪 Sobriety discipline⚖️ Consequences of denial❤️ Family dynamics in addiction🎥 Watch till the end for one of the most honest conversations ever recorded on addiction and sobriety.👍 Like, Comment & Subscribe for more long-form conversations on transformation, recovery and human behavior. Also, do follow us on our other social media platforms for more updates!🌐 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/shwetas_talkies/🎧 YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Shwetastalkies💼 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shwetasatpathy/📘 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61572020330682🐦 Twitter/X: https://x.com/shwetas_talkies?s=21🎬 Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/user229859187👻 Snapchat: https://www.snapchat.com/add/shwetastalkies📌 Pinterest: https://in.pinterest.com/shwetastalkies/⚠️ Disclaimer: The views and opinions expressed by the guest are solely their own and are shared for personal, educational and awareness purposes. Amazing! Exploring Hidden Treasures of England's History
🇬🇧 Stepping away from London and entering the deep British countryside felt like slipping into another century — three towns, three eras, and a treasure trail of antiques I’ve never seen before. This film documents my historic trail through Petworth, Tetbury, and Arundel — three iconic English towns shaped by royalty, artists, and eccentric collectors. Along the way, I explored legendary antique shops, local artisans, estate sales, and hidden corners that most tourists completely miss.Amazing! Exploring Hidden Treasures of England's History🇬🇧 PETWORTH — (1086) The Town That Houses a Million-Dollar SecretPetworth appears in the *Domesday Book of 1086, but its greatest surprise lies inside Petworth House.Startling fact: It holds one of the largest Turner painting collections in the world — created specifically because Turner practically lived with the Earl here.Anecdote: Locals still talk about how Turner would vanish into the mist for days, painting Petworth’s skies before breakfast and dining with nobility by night.Shopping: Petworth’s Market Town alleys hide high-value estate silver, 18th-century prints, and rare porcelain.🇬🇧 TETBURY — (681 CE) The Ancient Wool Town Turned Antique CapitalFounded in 681 CE, Tetbury once powered England’s medieval wool economy.Startling fact: Its famous Chipping Steps were used for centuries by wool merchants who taxed sheep by the number of footsteps they climbed.Anecdote: Many antique dealers in Tetbury still operate from former wool barns — you can literally shop under original 1600s beams.Shopping: Serious antique hunters call Tetbury “the Cotswolds vault” — furniture, maps, royal-era curios.🇬🇧 ARUNDEL — (1067) The Town Built Around a Castle from the Year After 1066Arundel Castle was first established in 1067, barely a year after the Norman Conquest.Startling fact: The castle has been continuously inhabited for nearly 1,000 years by the same noble family line — one of the longest in Europe.Anecdote: Antique sellers around the Arundel High Street still find castle-related trinkets turning up in attic clearances and estate boxes.Shopping: Arundel is full of quirky mid-century glassware, old British signage, second-hand books, and Victorian objects.

Through an Indian Lens: Walking Inside London’s Paradox
London 2025: The City That Rewrites Its Own StoryI walked through London in 2025 — a city still split between velvet and concrete, a paradox between heritage and hustle. From Mayfair’s silent elegance to Camden’s rain-soaked rebellion, this London is a living museum of contrasts. This time, I felt a shift — more caution, more control. I found myself avoiding random cabs, sticking to Black Cabs, watching over my phone, noticing a city that feels both familiar and foreign.Through an Indian Lens: Walking Inside London’s Paradox — it’s strange how the city that once mapped us now maps itself. Colonial echoes hide in antiques, menus, and museums; the empire’s ghosts now hang politely behind glass. At 34 Mayfair, dinner felt like theatre — art on porcelain, jazz in the air, and choreography in every gesture. In Soho, the neon hasn’t dimmed but has changed tone — rebellion polished into aesthetic. And in Portobello, antiques whisper of empire — old maps of India, silver cutlery, forgotten crests. The ghosts of empire now hang behind glass, traded as collectibles in a city that sells its past as style. From Fortnum & Mason’s polished civility to Camden’s smoky edge, this isn’t the London of postcards. It’s a city editing itself — balancing luxury with grit, nostalgia with neon, memory with modernity.Somewhere between tea on every corner and jazz at dinner, I realised — London doesn’t evolve, it rewrites its story every night.Don't forget to like, share & subscribe the video.🌐 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/shwetas_talkies/🎧💼 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shwetasatpathy/📘 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61572020330682🐦 Twitter/X: https://x.com/shwetas_talkies?s=21🎬 Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/user229859187👻 Snapchat: https://www.snapchat.com/add/shwetastalkies📌 Pinterest: https://in.pinterest.com/shwetastalkies/

Do Dating Apps Work for People Over 40?
DATING APP - Both a blessing and not so . Post covid the remaining of the singles who weren't earlier on any dating apps made their virgin foray. The non believers however remained offline at the cost of meeting fewer people. What is it that is working ? And do they work for generating serious relationships ? Even with all the checks and balances created by the applications how many of the users are lying ? It becomes ridiculously funny and even more bizarre !!

Mr. Hormusji Cama's BIGGEST Insights on Two Centuries of News
I had the honor of sitting down with the elusive Mr. Hormusji N. Cama, Chairman and key custodian of a massive responsibility, Mumbai Samachar - a true heritage brand. Its journey began on 1st July 1822, as Bombay Samachar, and was printed to alert the tradesmen about the arrival and departure of ships at the Bombay docks. Over 200+ years and counting, the newspaper is printed in Gujarati and remains Asia's oldest continuously published newspaper.Mr. Hormusji N. Cama has served as the Chairman of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) for the year 2018–2019. He gave back to society & the news landscape by previously serving two terms as the President of the Indian Newspaper Society (INS) and held leadership roles as the Chairman of the Press Trust of India (PTI) and the Media Research Users Council (MRUC).An active board member of INS, PTI, and MRUC, his family has been the custodian of Mumbai Samachar since the 1930s. Witnessing the complex history of India, the Mumbai Samachar still sells for Rs 10 and is thinking about revising the prices as he believes good, verified, trusted content is king.He mentioned one thing that impacted me deeply, specially in this age of “quick news." He said he preferred holding back the news, to fact-check rather than release it. That is the kind of responsibility that is so badly required in today’s news journalism.
