224 Simulcast Turns Ten
For the first time, Victoria, Jesse, Ben and Jess got together in person to record an episode of Simulcast. This hopefully not-to-self-indulgent reflection was prompted by a big anniversary – 10 years. This isn’t too deep, but hopefully serves as a prompt for reflection for all our Simulcast family, listeners, guests and collaborators to look back on your own enormous growth and twists and turns of the last 10 years. We each revisited a big impact article: Ben The COVID Intubation Box https://simulationpodcast.com/106-the-covid-19-intubation-box/ Jess Findings from a human roles terminology survey: consensus or chaos? Jill Steiner Sanko, Tonya Schneidereith, Amy Cowperthwait, Rachel Onello BMJ Simulation & Technology Enhanced Learning v. 6, n. 3 (May 2020) : 158-163 Jesse Rapport https://simulationpodcast.com/52-2/ Victoria Safer Births https://simulationpodcast.com/202-safer-birth-nejm-with-hege-ersdal-and-benjamin-kamala/ And then we closed out with our hopes or swings at what the future may bring. Victoria closed out with a great grounding reference to continually reconsidering what value-based simulation in a dynamic process https://simulationpodcast.com/212-advances-in-simulation-value-based-simulation-in-healthcare-with-lisa-barker-and-katie-walker/ Thank you to everyone who has contributed over the years. The OG journal clubbers, the guests, the foundation listeners and those who have just found us.
