For my fellow peers, welcome to my podcast SisterSoul in which I share academic and personal advice on being a self-motivated student in IB and finding your path towards college and, generally, in life as well. I wanted to include everyone in this podcast who resonates with struggles in youth, growing up, not growing up at all, finding your identity, relationships and your career path in a space where sister souls come together. This idea also stuck with me as I finished Cheryl Strayed’s book “Tiny Beautiful Things” which was very inspirational to the advice column readers of its time who needed a big sister like Cheryl who could tell the good, the bad and the ugly sides of life’s dilemmas. As an aspiring psychology student, I really believe in the power of vulnerability and shared experiences, therefore I came up with the idea that all the people in this universe share common experiences without even knowing.
