Can stuff bring you happiness? Thousands of companies and celebrities seem to imply that it can. From the time we are old enough to watch television or go out in public we are exposed to advertising. Every single day we are told that we need this newest item or item or latest product. We are convinced that it will make us better- more attractive, healthier, stronger, smarter, cooler , and happier. Consuming is so wholly part of our nation's identity, it is called the American Dream! We see celebrities with perfect lives, fast cars, huge houses, great skin and bodies, constant vacations to exotic places living their best lives and to achieve that is the goal of most Americans. Is it possible? Is it WORTH IT?
