The next games are under way, and the group is brought into a more intellectually-inclined challenge. Despite the ever-changing rules of the preview editions and not remembering how powerful their abilities actually are (and a paid off judge), they persevere and come out on top.

The River Devil has been defeated, but Nav seems changed from the experience. The party decides to boat-hop into port instead of waiting and find themselves finally in the city of Axis, where they are immediately thrust into their next deadly challenge: competitive sports.

Some have the luxury of being able to return home, if only for a moment's respite. Such a journey back can motivate one, inspire, remind them of what they're fighting for. The 13th Age campaign grew while it was in the works. Ultimate Edition, a personal project of house editor Yuria, is meant to bring those early episodes up to par with the latter parts. Music is added, editing is tightened, and the experience is generally enhanced. Having successfully avenged Boltstrike Tower, the party decides to stick together just a bit longer to take a trip to Axis, City of Swords and capital of the Dragon Empire, to see the coronation of the new Dragon Emperor. In a true bolt from the blue, the team gains one member and, as they are soon to discover, an infinite amount of great ideas.

It is a bitter winter, frigid and tragic, but the spring still comes. It always will.   Our story has always been the story of how the Winter War of 1149 came to be. This final episode is the war itself. In today's bonus feat, we played Celestial Crescent, from the Far Horizons Co-Op. A game about spacefaring in ancient Sumeria, Celestial Crescent is a world where magic is real, gods and monsters patrol the space lanes, and ancient cities like Babylon and Ur are galactic regions of space where people live, with several planets and spaceports to their name. Straight from the bonus recordings comes a double-feature presentation! In the first part of this episode, during Wolfshirt's birthday the party decides to have a three-team brawl with Kensington and Joey vs. Miriam and Bananaramawicz vs. Algernon and... a Medusa. The results are what you'd probably expect of them trying to figure out a PvP system in D&D. The second half (Starting at 1:07:10) has three of the players sent into the world of Paranoia, where players are encouraged to not know how the mechanics work going in. Rosard has been kidnapped and taken into the bowels of a weasel fortress. With the help of criminal privateers, and under the cover of a rain storm at night, Tander, Zeke, and Granny lead an invasion force to destroy the palace and take him back.

Militia Patrol has reached their destination of Ferndale... and they find the city in lockdown. The only mouse in the streets is a woman in the stocks, there's a bomb threat, and everyone is locking their doors at the mere sight of the guard.

Granny, Tander, and Zeke have found Rosard's trail and are in hot pursuit! They meet some old friends along the way, including one particularly surprising familiar face along the beach, but they need to hurry. Woodstuff's Grove is empty, with no sign of Rosard in sight. Instead of a large hammermouse, Search Patrol has found an old librarian armed with crossbows - Velvet, mother of Marx. With no other leads, they settle in to discuss what happened with her, and what we should all do next.

A local bookstore has inherited up a powerful magical artifact, and our vagabonds are tasked with acquiring it. There is a militia gathering in Ferndale, a small town on the edge of the territories that has suddenly tripled in population in preparation for the weasel war.
