Run The Jewels: “Run The Jewels”

Can’t get enough of the new (and completely free) Run The Jewels LP from Killer Mike and El-P. Check out the opening track above — El-P’s verse at 2:07 is pure gold. Also, if you like what you hear, an email address below will get you the rest of the album. Highly recommended.

   Killer Mike: “Anywhere But Here”

More Hip Hop, this one a track off of Killer Mike’s new LP, RAP Music (2012), which — BONUS! — was produced by El-P. The bass line in this song. Ya.

   El-P: “Works Every Time”

Not more electronica…: Kruder & Dorfmeister

So I thought for today I’d keep the electronica rolling, but trade in µ-Ziq’s headphones mindtrip for something a bit more danceable care of trip-hop remixers par excellence Kruder & Dorfmeister—perhaps not the best backtrack to modeling, Matt, but I’m thinking ideal for the post-studio cool…

   Studio: “Apt. A (1)” + “I Promise Never…”

A good playlist is the only way to get through a late night in studio, and tonight is going to be a late night in studio… so here’s what’s on rotation at the moment. Among a handful of albums, cLOUDDEAD’s debut self-titled has been making the rounds pretty heavily. Maybe I just have a soft …...
