Smart Graphics ist ein relativ neues Forschungsgebiet zwischen der Computergrafik, der Psychologie, der künstlichen Intelligenz und dem Design. Smart Graphics versucht, mit Methoden der Computergrafik und der künstlichen Intelligenz automatisch grafische Präsentationen zu erzeugen, die grundlegenden Erkenntnissen über die menschliche Wahrnehmung und Informationsverarbeitung sowie Regeln und Heuristiken aus dem grafischen Design entsprechen. Das Ziel dabei ist die bessere Visualisierung von Daten, sowie die Entwicklung benutzerfreundlicher grafischer User Interfaces. Instanz des Moduls Computergrafik 3.Eine Auswahl der behandelten Themen: * Graphics & Psychology * Graphics, Art & Design * Graphics & Communication * Graphics & Computers * Graphics & Text * Representation & Reasoning * Rendering & Automatic Layout
