Following her beloved brother through the intricacies of Russian ballet, appearing on stage with him, she was arguably the person most close with the man who thrust ballet into the 20th century. She did not follow him, however into the madness which consumed him but stayed to continue in dance , in choreography and in a tumultuous life.
