Sound and Vision - The Demos
by Chad Phillips and Adam Robertson
Not always entirely professional, hear the dynamic duo of Phillips and Robertson before they were famous. Laugh derisively as they chat about key existential and metaphysical topics such as "The Copenhagen Climate Summit", "The Global Financial Crisis", "Rummaging through an old garden turns up a tennis ball" and "What happens when you play video games for 16 hours straight." Weep in despair as you discover Sound and Vision's unrecorded show, a disaster in which an entire hour of audio is lost to the airwaves. Tremble with horror as you listen to segments such as "Oooo, that sounds weird" and "Hot Topic." And stand mystified as your ears take in the aural pleasure of such bands as David Bowie, Mumford and Sons, The Velvet Underground, Daft Punk, Phoenix, James Brown and many, many more...But be prepared, because Sound and Vision is coming at ya like a shark with legs.Melbourne listeners tune into SYN, 90.7FM on your radio dial, Tuesdays 9-10am.
