I aded a track of Roland G-8 "busty fifth" patch. its such a great synth (as are most Rolands). wanted to explore keeping it berlin schoolish., lovely bed to play over. The...

   approaching and pushing away disquiet0748 (and a 2) Daniel Burke>mark hannesson etude_undone

my first choice was mark hannesson etude_undone (hard choices so many great contributions last week). the gentle nature of the figures and the simple piano sound with reversed sounds and thank goodness easy on the reverb/effects. simple and beautiful, i just wanted to compliment it in a minimal...

   disquiet 0747 Cocoquantus-Jupiter 6 Arp

running a Roland Jupiter 6 arp pattern through the Ciat-Lonbarde Cocoquantus. A rather strange and wonderful noisy piece of art/machinery. I did subtle manipulations to its parameters while the arpeggio runs on. Plugged this improvised tweaking intro ableton and added a bit of reverb & echo. it...

   Reframing disquiet0700

another Disquiet Junto assignment. The outside view brings both peace of mind and a hint of natural chaos, the frame brings a sense of all the light & dark that humanity might bring to the picture. Plus there is DalÍ to soothe the savage beast. The piano improvisation set the tone for both open...

13. All is Fairgame Disquiet0685 pickupstix (M)

My first impression of this prompt was to make a sort of exquisite corpse composition, random elements somehow fitted together. I sort of followed through on that starting with a recent piano jam accompanying a sequence created with the Step Poly Arp App on my IPAD. I love this app, so much…
