Christ exalting unity is cultivated in the Church by understanding: A. Our identity is a gift from Christ personally. B. Our identity is a gift to Christ’s Body. The theology of justification that places us in Christ eternally will transform us practically in Christ's body (the church).

In Philippians 1:1Paul's greeting cultivates: 1. Christ Exalting Humility 2. Christ Exalting Unity "Remember that the Master who calls you into blessed slavery is the Savior who purchased you for eternity!"

The letter to the Philippians tells us that hope in Christ should produce: 1. Unquenchable Joy 2. Delightful Humility 3. Powerful Unity

Biblical hope protects our minds and prepares us for action. The Apostle Paul's Hope: 1. Prepared him for ministry. 2. Proclaimed God's glory. 3. Protected his integrity. 4. Produced healing and joy.

In Mark 2:23-28 the conflict over the Sabbath begins with: 1. A distorted accusation 2. A direct correction 3. A divine declaration

In Mark 2 we see that God's Grace Replaces Rotting Rituals with: 1. The New Cloth of Christ's Righteousness 2. The New Wine of the Holy Spirit

In Mark 2 we see that when Christ proclaims the Good News that God calls sinners by grace alone not due to human effort, rituals or religion there is always either feasting or fasting, rejoicing or resentment.

In Mark 2:13-15 we see that: The Master Calls Sinners Personally and Powerfully. In v. 13 we see our Master’s personal mercy. In v. 14 we hear the Master call authoritatively. In vs. 14b-15 we see evidence of the Master’s calling.

In Mark 2:5-12 Jesus reveals Sovereign Authority through Omnipotent Mercy. In Mark 2:6-12 we hear: 1. Unbelievable Questions 2. Unmistakable Revelations 3. Unrepentant Reactions

The Irresistible Jesus Draws the Immovable Sinner to see His Authority and Mercy. The Irresistible Draws the Immovable when: 1. Jesus is Present 2. Faith is Present 3. Grace is Present

Pastors are not called to be professionals. They have a higher calling. Shepherds are called to be protectors. Overseers are called to be the stewards of Christ's bride, shepherds of His blood bought sheep. Pastors are called to live with the sheep and die for the sheep for the glory of God and the good of His people.

We should love the Church because: 1. The Church is Built by God the Son on Earth 2. The Church is the Evidence of God’s Sovereign Power on Earth 3. The Church is the Most Valuable Gift on Earth 4. The Church Displays the Glory of Heaven on Earth

In Mark 1:40-45 we overhear the Good News that Jesus Christ willingly embraces the defiled and makes them clean. In this passage we hear: 1. The Cry of an Outcast 2. The Compassionate Answer of Christ 3. The Command of God 4. The Compulsive Confession.

Jesus’ Persistent Proclamation was Motivated by Divine Love and His Vocation. Jesus’ Love and Perfection in His Vocation Motivates us to Proclaim His Message.

Prayerful Direction led Jesus to the Persistent Proclamation of His Mission. Jesus teaches us that The Gospel of God should be: Proclaimed Persistently. In Mark 1:35-37 - We see Jesus’ Persistent Rejection of Temptation. In Mark 1:38a - We see Jesus’ Persistent Instruction
