The Moon: Walking Through What You Can't See
In this episode of Spiritually Grounded, we walk into the terrain of shifting shapes, obscured roads, dreams and synchronicities that feel both guiding and unsettling. The Moon is not a card of deception. It is a card of depth. It invites us into the spaces where certainty dissolves and intuition must lead.Under its pale glow, what we rebuilt after collapse from the tower, begins to shimmer with ambiguity. The nervous system scans for old dangers. The Shadow surfaces through dreams and subtle signals. And we are asked not to force clarity, but to move with awareness through uncertainty. This episode explores what it means to live in that in-between place. Where logic can’t fully guide you and where emotion rises like the tide.If you’ve ever felt like clarity slip through your fingers just as you grasp it, if you’ve questioned your perception, or if you’re learning to trust your intuition in the dark, this episode will meet you. Because the Moon does not remove the shadows. It teaches you how to walk through them with fear as your companion. This is a public episode. The Star: Hope After the Fire
What happens after the Tower falls? After the illusion have burned away? When the noise goes quiet? In this episode of Spiritually Grounded, we explore The Star, a card of renewal, clarity, and reconnection to something larger than the self. The Star is not naïve optimism. It is the settling of the dust after a rupture. The moment your nervous system settles down and regulates with your Spirit as your higher consciousness begins to speak. In this conversation, I share how my ally (spirit), Obion, became a partner in my tarot readings, mediumship, and my life. I share how, when someone opens themselves to their higher self, something larger joins them in the dialogue. The Star meets The Magician here. With tools in hand and heart open, clarity becomes creation. This episode is about the magic we all carry within ourselves. The kind of magic that doesn’t demand attention but restores our alignment with our truth, even after everything feels broken. If you’ve been searching for hope that feels grounded rather than forced, this episode will meet you there. The Devil
In this episode of Spiritually Grounded, I explore The Devil card not as something to fear, but as an invitation to awareness. The Devil reveals where we are bound by unconscious attachments found in habits, beliefs, desires, and emotional patterns that once helped us survive, but now quietly limit our freedom.Drawing from my original article The Devil: Facing Our Shadows and Attachments, this conversation examines how the Shadow forms through adaptation, how shame and control take root, and why true liberation doesn’t come from rejecting these parts of ourselves, but from seeing them clearly. When we understand what we’re attached to and why we regain choice.Using tarot as a map for self-reflection, I guide listeners through recognizing the Protector beneath the attachment and the Spirit beyond it, helping you understand how your past conditioning is influencing your present behavior and how awareness opens the door to change. If you’ve ever felt stuck in repeating cycles, conflicted by desire, or trapped between what you want and what you know is true, this episode offers insight, compassion, and a path forward. Freedom doesn’t come from breaking the chains, it comes from realizing they were never locked. This is a public episode. A Shadow & Spirit Conversation with Britt, The Escoteric Hoe
In this episode of Spiritually Grounded with Christopher, we explore a deeply revealing Shadow, Self, and Spirit tarot reading for Britt, whose cards illuminate a journey of perseverance, solitude, and rediscovering self-worth.The reading begins with the Five of Pentacles in her Shadow — the energy of abandonment, scarcity, and emotional disconnection that often stems from past experiences of being left out in the cold. Through intuitive conversation, we uncover how this card reflects not just external hardship, but the internal belief that healing and support are beyond reach. In her Self, the Knight of Pentacles appears — steady, devoted, and quietly resilient — reminding Britt that healing doesn’t come through speed, but through consistent, grounded effort. This card invites her to rebuild her sense of value one intentional step at a time. Finally, her Spirit reveals The Hermit, guiding her inward to find wisdom, rest, and reconnection with her own light. Together, these cards form a powerful message of transformation: what feels like isolation is often preparation for deeper purpose.Join me in this conversation as we uncover how the dialogue between Shadow, Self, and Spirit reveals Britt’s path from struggle to self-reliance — and how tarot can illuminate the spaces where healing, patience, and spiritual guidance intersect. If you’re navigating a season of uncertainty or longing for reconnection with your inner light, this episode will remind you that even in solitude, you are never truly alone.DM if you’re a subscriber and want to join a live podcast for a glimpse at your Shadow and Spirit conversation with the Self. The Emperor
In this episode of the Everything Tarot Podcast, I explore one of the most misunderstood cards in the Major Arcana: The Emperor. The Empress
1. Nurture Without Abandoning Yourself* Notice where you’re over giving in your life. Write down one place where you constantly pour energy into others but neglect your own needs.* Practice setting a small boundary this week, not to withdraw love, but to show yourself that your needs are equally worthy.2. Reclaim the Forgotten Inner Child* The Empress is mother energy. Sit quietly, close your eyes, and imagine yourself as a child. “What did you need to hear or feel that you didn’t receive?”* Write a letter to that younger self offering those words now. Read it aloud as an act of re-parenting.3. Create Something Tangible* The Empress is the archetype of creation. Choose one small act of creation this week. It can be cooking a meal, planting a flower, painting, journaling, or designing something new.* The point isn’t the outcome, but the act of honoring your capacity to bring something into form.4. Ground in the Body* The Empress teaches presence through the senses. Practice a 5–4–3–2–1 grounding exercise. Notice 5 things you see, 4 sensations you feel, 3 sounds you hear, 2 aromas you smell, and 1 taste in your mouth.* This roots you back into your body instead of escaping into the mind.5. Shadow Work with The Empress* “Where have I neglected myself the way others once neglected me?”* Journal on this honestly. Then ask: What is one act of nurture I can give myself today that breaks that cycle? This is a public episode. The High Priestess
Where The Magician directs power outward, The High Priestess draws power inward. She is the guardian of intuition, of what is hidden, and what can only be revealed in silence. Her wisdom is not gained by doing. It is received by listening. She represents the sacred feminine principle of knowing: mysterious, receptive, and non-linear.She does not speak — she reveals. She does not teach — she allows you to remember. She is the space within the soul where truth rises unbidden. The High Priestess’s Energy* Element: Water (still and deep)* Astrology: The Moon (subconscious, dreams, illusion, feminine cycles)* Archetype: The Mystic, The Oracle, The Gatekeeper, The Inner VoiceShe sits between the black and white pillars. Boaz and Jachin, the duality of shadow and light, guarding the Veil of the Temple. Behind it? The inner sanctum of your higher self, your deepest knowing. Your eternal spirit that loves you and communicates with you through divination, like the tarot. She holds the Torah an ancient wisdom, half-hidden, never fully revealed. This is the card of mystery, sacred timing, inner knowing, and the unspoken. When The High Priestess Appears in a Single Card PullIt is a clear call to pause, to go inward, and to trust your intuitive senses over external logic or pressure. It means:* Not everything is ready to be revealed trust the mystery* Your intuition knows the answer even if your mind hasn’t caught up* This is a time to observe, reflect, and listen deeply* Answers may come in dreams, symbols, synchronicitiesIntention Behind the Card:“Be still. Feel before you speak. Know before you act.”The High Priestess is not passive, she is potent. Her stillness is a sword; her silence is sacred. This card teaches power through restraint and clarity through intuition.Significance After The Magician (Position in the Journey)The Magician acts. The High Priestess integrates. The Magician says, “Use what you know.”The High Priestess answers, “But do you know what you feel?”In a personal journey:* After outward creation, we are asked to turn inward again* It reflects a shift from external will to inner wisdom* It says: You’ve made your move, now wait and watch the truth unfoldThis teaches a key spiritual rhythm: action must be balanced by awareness, or we lose ourselves in the illusion of control. The Message of The High Priestess“The answers you seek are within. But they are not ready to shout. They are waiting for you to listen in stillness.”She invites you to:* Trust your intuition above opinions* Hold your truth even if you cannot yet explain it* Notice your dreams, symbols, and gut reactions* Resist the urge to act just for the sake of motionFinal Reflection Questions:* What am I being asked to hold in silence or mystery right now?* Where is my intuition guiding me that my mind is resisting?* What becomes clear when I choose not to react immediately? The High Priestess is your inner sanctuary. She is the space where spirit whispers. She is the veil — and the invitation to part it. How I do Tarot
Tarot, for me, isn’t about fortune-telling or predicting a future carved in stone. It’s a conversation. A facilitation of a dialogue between your higher consciousness, my own, and the source we both draw from. The cards do not hold the answer themselves. They act as the bridge that allows questions and answers to rise. When I sit down with a deck, I’m not asking, “What will happen to you?” I’m asking, “What’s already moving within you? What’s ready to be seen?” Each card holds a language of symbols, archetypes, and patterns that give voice to what the soul already knows. My role in a reading is to listen. I am not only feeling the cards but the felt sense, that subtle thread of intuition they awaken within me. The images, the numbers, the flow of the spread, they all of work together to spark recognition in you. It’s often less about me “telling you” and more about helping you recognize the conversation that’s already happening inside. In this way, tarot is a mirror. It reflects both the parts of you you’re familiar with, and the parts you’ve been avoiding, ignoring, or quietly carrying. It can affirm your truth, challenge your assumptions, and open a space where new choices become visible.Every reading is an invitation back to yourself. The cards simply make the introduction.Everything Tarot is a reader-supported publication.
