Indiana's Space Economy
Dr. Barrett Caldwell has been the head of the Indiana Space Grant Consortium for 20 years, interfacing Indiana concerns with NASA programs. He leads Purdue University's GROUPER lab, and had been teaching in the aerospace program for decades. He came into this work, in part, because he grew up fascinated by space in both fact and fiction. It's always a joy to talk with Dr. Caldwell, and I hope you find it equallly enjoyable to listen to our conversation.Chapters00:00 Introduction and Space Grant Consortium06:05 The Benefits of Space Exploration13:03 Working with NASA and the Artemis Mission20:08 Insights from the Artemis Mission28:48 The Importance of Effective Communication40:40 Leadership Models and Communication47:34 Creating a Hopeful Future
