The last chapter was pretty intense, so I thought I'd start the roller coast going back up again sooner rather than later :)

I won't tell you what's going to happen in the next few chapters, but I will remind you that in the genre I write, serious roller coaster emotions are the norm. So be prepared - it's going to get a bit bumpy...

I'm just going to present these chapters without telling you what happens from now on :D

Consumed by his emotions, Erik makes some decisions...but first he has to get hold of Nick.

This is another long chapter (sorry!), with a lot going on.

Erik's nightmare wakes Alex, and he learns something about her that might change everything...

After some serious lovemaking, Erik opens up about his thoughts and feelings...

Just how many orgasms can Erik give Alexandra in the space of ten minutes?

Can Erik finally just enjoy a beautiful day in the mountains? Hmmm.....

Something strange is happening to Erik...he finds himself feeling protective of Alex, wanting to take care of her more than he wants to have sex with her, especially when she starts asking about going on more missions. How strange...

Alex is gripped by some unexpected pangs of doubt....

Alexandra is quite the little seductress...

Erik and Alex cool off a bit with some discussion about what happened to him during the ambush...and he remembers something he doesn't want to think about.

It's the morning after, and Erik has some conflicting feelings...

Erik may have been unsure about his sexual encounter with Alex, but she sure wasn't...

In the book version, this a long chapter divided into two parts - the first being from her point of view, and the second from his. This is a common technique in romance fiction, so that you get to feel what both of them are experiencing without the amateur-writer mistake of jumping in and out of their heads in the same scene.

Finally....finally Alex and Erik go to bed....

Chapter 8 - some background on what's going on with Erik...and things start to heat up...

Chapter 7...finally back in the warmth of the cabin...

I think I might stop telling you what happens in the chapters I post...

Erik needs to understand why Alex and Nick thought this intervention would work...and Alex reminds him of what he said to her in Mexico City. He decides to leave the cabin, facing a wicked winter storm instead of staying with her.

In Chapter 3, Erik wants to know why Alexandra brought him all the way up to a secluded mountain cabin for medical reasons...and she reveals what her real reason was

Chapter Two finds Alex and Erik arriving at the cabin, where Alex plans to seduce him.
