The Twelve Steps of Alcoholic Anonymous have been proven to work for over 80 years with a success rate of 67 percent or better. Nothing has been proven to work better than the Steps. Yet, treatment centers have formulated their own message and alcoholics and addicts who adopt it fail mightily. By their own admission only 1 out of 13 who go to treatment find success.
