The Blizzard of 1977 | One of Canada's Worst Snowstorms

Episode 30 - Canada’s nickname has been the great white north for as long as I can remember. The country is no stranger to snowstorms or ice. Some of these storms can cause schools and workplaces to shut down or even vehicles to slip off roads and highways. But some storms are worse than others. Much worse. Heading back in time to January of 1977, there was one such storm that hit Southern Ontario and Western New York so hard it put them into a state of emergency, and they were shut down due to its severity. Episode 29 - When it comes to Halloween, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Carving pumpkins, trick or treating, or maybe dressing up. Dressing up as a terrifying monster perhaps? Some usual creatures that pop up this time of year might include vampires, werewolves, and even ghosts. Monsters that are simply make-believe and purely fun for the season, right? Well, what if I told you that there were places and stories within Canada that point towards these things not being made up and are in fact real. Crop Circles in Canada | UFOs or Simply a Hoax?

Episode 28 - During the late 1960's into the 1970's, farmers in Canada began noticing strange rings and circles showing up in their fields overnight. Nobody was quite sure what they were and with the UFO surge in the late 1970’s, the idea arose that they were made by aliens. People would travel from all corners of the world just to catch a glimpse of these "alien made" crop circles. Not everybody agreed with this despite no other explanation given. Headless Bodies Found in Canadian National Park | Mystery of the Nahanni Valley

Episode 25 - We have all heard about or have seen Canada’s breathtaking wilderness. Thickly packed forests, towering mountain ranges, and beautiful turquoise rivers. This week's story takes us to the Nahanni Valley, a place that many of you have never heard of before but it is no exception to the beauty of Canadian wilderness. Situated in the Northwest Territories, this national park consists of forests, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, and four deep canyons. However, the beauty of this place is quite deceiving, the Nahanni Valley has a darker side. A side so full of unexplained deaths and disappearances it has been named as Canada’s most mysterious and cursed national park. Based on a string of decapitations that began in the late 1800’s and early 1900's it earned the name: Valley of the Headless Men. October 4th, 1967. It was a clear fall night. The small town of Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia lay still next to the icy waters of the Atlantic. However, residents of the town noticed strange orange lights flashing in the sky above the water.  The lights descended rapidly towards the water’s surface. The lights impacted the water causing a bright flash and a loud boom which sounded like an explosion. However, there was no sign of a crash.
