The Alive & Free Prescription has helped to save thousands of lives...and Seattle, Washington is a place that has embraced it. Our newest participants from our September Alive & Free Prescription Training had the organizations Community Passageways, Progress Pushers, Freedom Project and Urban Family join. They learned the Commandments of Violence and how the germs have infected their own communities and lives. Warren Hands Shares His Story

Keith Wattley, founder of UnCommon Law joined Street Soldiers Radio to shared how they have supported incarcerated people to heal and return home through parole.  For 20 years, UnCommon Law has championed the radical notion that people serving life sentences in prison for serious or violent crimes have the capacity for transformation and deserve viable pathways home from prison. With leadership from those most impacted by the criminal legal system, they are reimagining responses to violence and harm, and fighting to dismantle life sentencing and discretionary parole. Street Soldiers Radio had a special night with Richmond's own Elana Bolds, creator of the Put the Guns Down event. Ms. Lana is known throughout Richmond, CA as someone who cares about her community and giving back. Street Soldiers Radio dived deeper into Dr. Reggie Daniels' memoir, Prevail, with members of the Elders Group as they explored the Code, wounds and survival.

Celebrating Latino Heritage 2026

Street Soldiers Radio learns from immigration attorney Monica Oca-Howell about our rights when dealing with ICE agents at the airport, home and in public. We highlight the impactful work of the Six Triple Eight to close Women's History Month. The 6888th Centeral Postal Battalion ("Six Triple Eight") was the only all-Black, all-female unit deployed overseas during WWII, tasked with sorting a massive, three-year backlog of mail for American troops in Europe. Led by Major Charity Adams, they cleared the backlog in 3 months instead of the anticipated 6, operating under the motto "No Mail, Low Morale" www.StayAliveAndFree.org

Nearly 3 in 10 women (29%) and 1 in 10 men (10%) in the US have experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by a partner and reported it having a related impact on their functioning.
