    Some bits of Season 1

I'm not sure exactly what Stupid Stupod is, but I know what it is not. Stupid Stupid is not a chat show. “Thank the Lord’s combustible trousers, there are 30,000 of those released per hour!” I imagine your response to be. I also imagine you saying it in a strange, Vincent Price-style while filleting a salmon, but that is clearly silliness so please disregard that. It’s not a few friends sitting around talking about their lives or funny stories. I mean, there are some good shows that are like that. There are a lot that are poo as well. Most are poo actually. I’ll stop saying poo now. Stupid Stupod is not an interview show; no guests coming on plugging their latest venture or telling vague and dull anecdotes about the time they went to the shops, saw somebody they know , ended up chatting for ages and then eventually left the store without getting the thing that they came for in the first place! Can you BELIEVE THAT?Stupid Stupod isn’t a celebrity wank vehicle. By that I mean a show that a celebrity creates to stroke their ego and capitalise on their profile, not a car that a celebrity might purchase for the purpose of….well,Stupid Stupid is not "Hamish and Andy". You may well have picked up on the distinct lack of Andy’s and the complete absence of Hamish’s. This was not an accident. This was a deliberate creative (and financial) choice. More financial actually. Stupid Stupid is not "Mamamia Out Loud". It is not even "Mamamia Quietly To Yourself Once The Other Person Has Walked Away and I Have Finally Thought Of Something Clever To Say Back To Them". . Stupid Stupod is not a small, frightened lemur who has fallen out of favour within its intricate social hierarchy and now must impress the other lemurs by eating ferns, which lemurs rarely eat due to the tannins in the fronds (lemurs are impressed with reckless behaviour and this would be the lemur equivalent of being a cast member of the former TV program Jackass). Hopefully that has made things clear. Here are a few bits of season 1 mashed together. Season 2 coming soon.
