Florida State begins the 2026 season in just over two months, hosting James Madison on February 13. After recent interviews with head coach Link Jarrett and pitching coach Micah Posey on the show, we break down the Seminoles' 2026 position player group. We discuss potential starters at each position and how a lineup could potentially come together.

The Seminoles' head coach joined the podcast for over 30 minutes to discuss the current state of Florida State baseball. Jarrett broke down where FSU's roster is after its portal haul, highlighting many of the newcomers. He also spoke on upgrades to FSU's player development facilities, what he looks for in an infielder, and how his staff promotes offensive development.

Florida State baseball begins the 2026 season in 79 days. Pitching coach Micah Posey joined the podcast for just over 35 minutes to break down the Seminoles' revamped pitching staff. FSU's pitching staff is made up of 20 arms, including 13 newcomers. There are 14 right-handed pitchers and six left-handed pitchers. Of the newcomers, six are from the portal, three are from DII/JUCO, and four are true freshmen. Posey discussed the improvements of returners Wes Mendes, John Abraham, and Payton Manca. He also spoke about the additions of high-level transfers Trey Beard, Bryson Moore, Cole Stokes, Cade O'Leary, & Gabe Nard. The pitching coach also talked about FSU's new 'launch-pad,' which was installed by Driveline, and will implement biomechanics into the pitching lab.

Sunday Golds is back to recap the Seminoles' two fall ball exhibitions against Mississippi State and UAB. FSU and Mississippi State tied 6-6 through 14 innings. The Seminoles topped UAB, 16-5, over 11.5 innings. Brett and Ariya discuss their overall takeaways from the exhbitions and highlight standouts from the mound and at the plate.
