Capcom and Niantic are making a mobile Monster Hunter game and the most exciting news Concerned Ape is working on a 1.6 update for Stardew Valley.

    Episode 135 Sony State of Play Feb 2023, Mid at Best

    Sony Playstations February 2023 State of Play was pretty meh. We would say if you are a PSVR user then it is probably more exciting. Xbox signed two major 10 year deals with Nvidia and Nintendo. Deep Rock Galactic developer is also becoming a publisher! We are huge Deep Rock Galactic fans and wish them the very best.

    Howdy all, we dive into the newest season of Apex Legends. Lots of changes occured ranging from new TDM mode, class revamps, and the new gun. The brothers give us updates on Hogwarts Legacy review. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 also got a new season and Falkner dived into his new impressions of the DMZ mode.

    Episode 133 Hogwarts Legacy Released, Metroid Prime Remastered Shadow Drop

    Howdy all, the brothers played some very initial impressions of Hogwarts Legacy. Nintendo Direct shadow dropped Metroid Prime Remastered and showed more Zelda Tears of the Kingdom along with a price and release date. Looks like Modern Warefare 2 may not be a 2 year game as it was initially stated to be.

    We it did kids, Aidan has finally purchased Destiny 2 content. The biggest news this week Xbox, Nintendo, and Sony won't be part of E3 this year. We are sure they will have some sort of digital showcase.

    After hearing about the layoffs at Microsoft and the worries associated with it, the Xbox Developer Direct was, for the most part, good. Not just with what was showcased but even the format in it was delivered. The big winner that came out of the direct was the shadow drop of Hi-Fi Rush. Our very own Aidan has some initial impressions of it.

    Episode 128 - Valheim Mistlands Update, Riot Games on GamePass, Deadcells DLC

    Sorry again for the inconsistent releases. The holidays has kept us busy and making scheduling chaotic. Valheim had a major update with its new Mistlands biome, a quick Darktide impressions, return to an old classic tower defense game Bloons 6. Destiny 2 Dawning event is live and for the most part has has been enjoyable for seasonal LTM. Riot games is on GamePass now and you will get access to pretty much all the heroes for all their games. Along with some extra cosmetics doodads and currency. Lastly, Deadcells announced their next expansion and it is a doozy. We are getting a Castlevania crossover with tons of content associated to it.

    Xbox Keystone project was cancelled due to it being too expensive for consumers. We give more God of War Ragnarok impressions, along with DMZ very brief initial take. Risk of Rain has joined Gearbox and due to Saints Row meh release Volition is moving over to Gearbox.

    Life has been busy for the crew and sorry for the late recordings and  delayed postings. We discussed some impressions about Grounded, Destiny  2, Rumbleverse, Brotato, and ZERO Sievert. God of War Ragnarok has gone  gold!!! Burnt news Bayonetta 1&2 voice actor Hellena Taylor was  offered shit money to reprise her role for Bayonetta 3. We will most  likely not be playing this game due to this action.

    Lots going on Ubisoft announced a bunch of stuff. Half we don't care  about and the other half maybe become good but still sus. 343 Industries  announced Halo Infinite roadmap and what a total shit show. At least,  Gunfire Reborn DLC is fun.

    Episode 120 - Ember Knights Impressions and PS5 Price Increase

    New week, same plebs. We tried editing the audio differently and it just didn't turn out quite right. So much apologies with that. We dived into a new indie roguelite game Ember Knights. Lot's of games released on Xbox Game Pass. Ghost Recon Wildlands being one of them and gotta say it is a pretty fun co op sandbox. Biggest news this week was PS5 price increase and the PS5 Dualsense Edge controller.

    We discuss our impressions of Necesse, Archvale, Power Washer, Garden Story, and The Cycle. Xbox, PS5, and Switch is going to have some positive upcoming updates and one of the 3 is still struggle busing to keep up with modern standards. KOTOR Remake maybe indefinitely delayed, it seems up in the air at the moment. Hopefully, it will be sorted out but we are concerned. Lastly, Let's pray Aidan can bring his PC back to life.

    Episode 116 - Sony PlayStation Family On the Up and Up

    Congrats to Dark Zero for winning the Apex Legends Global Series Championships. Bungie and Haven Studios are officially part of the Sony PlayStation family. We hope they can make some amazing games. It seems that the final documentations have been submitted for the Microsoft and Activision Blizzard acquisition. The government has 30ish days to request further documents or they will have to approve the acquisition.

    Episode 114 Back From Our Break

    We took a month off for various life reasons. We discuss the Starfield gameplay trailer and some minor things during the Xbox Showcase.We go over all the different games we've been playing during that time. Halo Infinite is getting a Co-op Beta test soon. Blizzard Entertainment is set to acquire Proletariat, the studio behind the fantasy battle royale Spellbreak. In more Blizzard news, Overwatch 2 will render Overwatch 1 unplayable and force all users to play 2.

    Episode 113 - Raven software QA Union is a go and Uncle Phil says we can work with that

    Howdy all, We are trying a new recording and editing software thingy and the audio is not up to snuff. Many apologies for that and thank you for dealing with it. Raven Software QA union is a go and Phil Spencer said “We absolutely support employees’ right to organize and form unions.” Sony PC games are doing very well based on a earnings call. Sniper Elite 5 is out day 1 on GamePass and you should give it a shot. Very initial impressions of the new hot thing V Rising is good and only $20 on Steam. Lastly, Modern Warfare 2 got a release date of 10.28.22. Big fingers crossed that it is good.

    Episode 112 - Halo TV Season 1 Review, Playstation +, and RIP FIFA

    Firstly, Halo TV show is an objectively bad Halo show and an acceptable  ish sci-fi show if you remove the Halo IP from it. Playstation + showed  off its list of games and it is a good start. EA dropped the FIFA  relationship after 30 years mostly due to money reasons.

    We are back from a one week break to do things away from home. We discuss the start of Apex Legends season 13, Rogue Legacy 2, and a couple of other indie titles. Dylan got a Steam deck and has some very very initial impressions. Square Enix decided to sell off a bunch of IPs to help fuel its foray into NFTs.

    Episode 109 Steam Deck Impressions, Return to Fortnite, and MYTHFORCE

    One of us got a Steam deck and has mildly been using it. Couple of the boys have returned to Fortnite after a couple years away and was very late to recording this episode due to it. New early access Indie FPS Roguelite to put on your radar is Mythforce (think if He-man 80's cartoon). It is currently an Epic exclusive but it has lots of potential.

    Episode 110 Halo Infinite Roadmap Revealed, Twitch Doing Amazon Things

    343 put out the roadmap for Halo Infinite and we are not happy with it, they are not happy with it, but it is what it is. Activision Blizzard stockholders approve proposed Microsoft transaction, the deal is still subject to regulatory review. It should all be said and done before July 2023. Ubisoft shutdown a bunch of online services for mostly 360/ps3/Wii/U era games. To be honest, we were surprised this many were still up. Twitch is considering cutting streamer rev share for more monies. This could have massive impact on the platform. If they do so will they remove the exclusivity clause to balance the scales.

    Episode 108 RIP Vicarious Visions and Certain Affinity Tagged in by 343

    Elden Ring update, it's still good game. As for news, Certain Affinity was tapped by 343 to be more involved with content development for Halo Infinite. What does that mean? likely more maps but also a rumored major game mode (BR). They need all the help they can get but in good Halo news. MCC pushed a major update that add Flood Firefight. Vicarious Visions has officially been absorbed by Blizzard Entertainment and is dedicated to Blizzard Titles (RIP Guitar Hero). Sony invested $1 billion into Epic Games and CD Project Red has delayed the next gen update for Witcher 3.
