Born and bred in Brooklyn New York, Ricardo Montero has been Djing well over 20 years. The bug first took Ricardo when he was introduced to the infamous New York night club, The Palladium back in the 90's, now an NYU dorm building named after the famed club. Amazed on how the Djs at the club manipulated the crowds with the incredible sounds of Techno and house on Friday and Saturday nights, Ricardo was instantly hooked! Determined to mix like the famed Djs of the clubs, he practiced till he landed gigs throughout the tri-state, NJ and Philly. started with hip hop but the love for house music was strong which lead him to perfect his mixing abilities from the genre. Although not actively spinning. Ricardo continues to keep his skills sharp with his monthly Techno,Deep, Tech and House music...multi format mixing will be on the way as Ricardo continues to evolve as a Dj...You can also check him out out on Soundcloud and iTunes through his mixshow name, System Shaker.
