Talk of the Rift

A chaotic week in the LCS last week sparks some interesting storylines leading up to playoffs. It could get dicey battling for the 5th and 6th place seeds in the tournament. Oh, also, we talked about Milio :)

There are/were some new faces in the LCS! We talked about them and all the other teams this week. Spoiler alert: a few teams have big reasons to be concerned going forward

Broadcast got a little spicy this week with a, shall we say, controversial decision to walk us all through the Doublelift TSM drama once again. We'll talk about that, as well as our week 2 assessments and week 3 predictions. 

With one week of the LCS in the books, the guys review each team's performance and react (sometimes OVERreact) accordingly. Also, Pyosik might be compared to Tom Brady, and not in a good way. So be prepared for that.

The LCS is back! Pickems are back! We're back! Everything is back except for the things that aren't. We also talked about patch 13.1B at the end for all you numbers lovers out there. Plenty in store for the kickoff of spring split, so buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Hey, all. We sat down and talked about the NEW new LCS schedule. There also might have been some talk about the future of the industry, and how much sponsorships mean to each level of professional League of Legends. Oh, and Eli designed a new champ that's super cool and would be fun to play. All his friends are saying so. Check it out!

Realistically the answer is no, but we spent an hour going over what we think is actually going on over at Riot Games HQ lately.

Do you want to know how we think the spring split will shape up? No? Well we did it anyway. And there was definitely no confusion at all about what we were supposed to be doing.

Pretty much the title. Oh also the game awards were this week. We didn't talk about it on the pod because it happened after we recorded, but that kid at the end was crazy right?  

We're taking a stab at grading the moves each team has made this off-season. Will your team be graduating? Or will they be getting held back?

It's a holiday week, and Kubes isn't here, so Logan and Eli mostly just talk about Pokemon this week :)

We spent a night playing preseason with the new changes, and we're here to talk about it. Also some other stuff :)

So this episode is being uploaded 2 weeks after it was recorded. Eli, who edits the podcasts, got Covid right after this and was pretty out of it for a while. Logan was on vacation so we didn't record in the week between this episode and the next one. Regardless, enjoy.

The boys are all back together again with a variety of smaller topics, the weekly pickems update, and the possibility of Riot moving duo queue to flex and having a pure solo queue experience. Also, Eli tried to add the song of the week to the end of the podcast this week. Will it work? I really hope so!
