Rigan Machado is a living legend in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu universe. He is a 9th degree red belt and one of the pioneers of the fighting art. His contributions to the fighting art and accomplishments are unparalleled. Originally from Brazil, having grown up in large part in Rio De Janeiro, first cousins to the Gracie family, and now having lived in the United States for several decades, he continues to teach and hold seminars all over the world. He is the first black belt ever under Carlos Gracie, Jr., and his resume of students include other martial arts legends like Chuck Norris and Dan Insoanto. He is also one of the nicest and humblest members of the community, and always an incredibly fun person to spend some time and "talk story" with.

Aresio Souza holds Master's degrees in Physical Therapy and Biomechanics. He is a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu brown belt who earned a bronze medal at the IBJJF World Masters Championship competing in the Master 4 division.
