Episode 121: A.G. Kruger III, Ashland Track & Field, Olympic Stories, Light Giver
On Episode 121 of Talkin' G-MAC, A.G. Kruger of Ashland Track and Field joins the podcast ahead of the 2024 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships.Kruger was a member of Team USA in three Summer Olympic Games (2004, 2008 and 2012). He also won 14 total United States national championships, indoor and outdoor combined.Prior to becoming head coach of the Ashland Eagles, Kruger served as the throws coach for NCAA Division I South Dakota's track and field program from 2015-22, a stint which included 2018 (outdoors) and 2022 (indoors and outdoors) Summit League women's team championships.More importantly, it was Kruger's relationship with the late Jud Logan that brought him back to Ashland in 2021.
