Talkin' Nets

The NFL made their roster cuts but there's so much to unpack from the Yankees beating the Red Sox I had to focus on that. I will do another episode on Wednesday. 

Jed York body cam footage reveals he's a Yankees fan. The Yankees get some injury updates as the battle to keep position in the AL East and Wild card race. The Pro Bowl is dead. NFL players can't go back to college football. Week Zero is upon us in NCAAF. A little Giants and Jets talk about I'll save it for WFAN. Back on The Fan 2am-5am Friday morning.

What was Jed York thinking? These guys trip me out. They will do ANYTHING and jeopardize EVERYTHING. If the Giants cut OBJ, he had his chance. Geno's first chance to impress went well. Deshaun Watson defaults into the QB1 spot for the Browns. College football is the wild, wild west. You can go pro and be on multiple teams and now go back to school. The Padres make history with their new ownership. The WNBA is a joke. Its WWE. I can't take it seriously. We unpack all of this plus some Yankees baseball of course. 

Two episodes this week, trying out Tuesday and Thursday. I think MWF is better for coverage. We hit on the Bayonne Little League Game 1 walk off World Series win. The Mets, the Yankees, the Dodgers, the MLB Standings. James Harden got paid again. Joe Tsai the owner of the Nets needs to look in the mirror. Knicks/NBA Schedule, Yankees hitting, Yankees/Apollo Deal, Lakers sold again, NFL News ahead of the first preseason games 

The Yankees are becoming a different team. Help is on the way. They will hit. We will see what happens with the division and the rest of baseball. We talk through it and hit some NFL news. I give my early camp thoughts on the Jets and Giants. We will do another episode Wednesday and Friday of this week. Tell a friend to tell a friend! 

The baseball is gonna baseball. Who will win the AL East? How will the Wildcard shake out? Will the Yankees start to hit and get healthy? Hall of Fame game kicked off last night so football is OFFICIALLY back. The running backs are getting PAID these days. We'll talk about it

I went live for the last hour before the trade deadline ended. I talked about moves that had been made so far. I had hoped the Yankees would land a catcher. On top of getting Luis Garcia Jr the day before, they added Heliot Ramos. That was all. We react to the trade. The return. We take some questions and thoughts from the chat. The End!

LET'S RAMP UP AND RUN ANOTHER ONE! Easy. I can do this all day from home. Plenty of NFL news and notes to talk now that training camps are open. MLB Trade Deadline is fast approaching. The Yankees are winning but don't let that distract you from the fact that they need to go all in

The title pretty much hits on everything. Listen! 

I had to quickly speak on Anthony Volpe,  Aaron Judge, Brian Cashman after the Yankees split the series. The Mets should have fired their manager sooner. IT WORKED. I can't wait for this HR Derby. I will see you in Philly. Knicks continue their masterclass. Another LeBron clue. Geno Smith and Terrion Arnold. That's it until episode 4! 

The USMNT was fun while it lasted but once again, we are not ready to compete in soccer, I mean futbol*, on the WORLD stage. The Yankees get a huge win to start the series against the Rays but the Caballero vs Volpe convo is a huge distraction. Cam Schlittler silenced his critics. The Mets continue to find new ways to Met, but they did work a series split. Juan Soto never met a girl he kissed right away, but him and Lindor's relationship is fine. Jalen Brunson gets surgery, Mitchell Robinson gets his Celtics jersey, and LeBron's looking like a Cavalier again. I'll see you in Philly for the All Star Game! 

REBRAND! New York sports guy Alex Day joins me on the first episode of "The Keith McPherson Show" for some NBA and MLB Talk. We get the breaking news that Jaylen Brown is going to the Sixers right before we went live. We talk about Mitchell Robinson going to the Celtics and where is LeBron going next? Of course, as die-hard Yankees fans, we talk about the lockout and the June Swoon as The Bronx Bombers lose seven in a row today. 

Adam Kester from Whistle Sports joins me to talk New York sports and beyond. We go through the Mets and Yankees terrible weekend to the World Cup and some NFL stories. Of course I ask Adam about the Knicks. Stay tuned for the next episode! 

The Mets FINALLY fire the manager. Better late than never but let's see what this changes with Carlos Mendoza gone. We talk Mets with my producer Jayden as he shares his perspective as a Mets fan. Last night Giannis was traded to the Heat and Julius Randle was traded to the Nets. Trae Young signed a big deal with the Wizards. There's always more Knicks updates. I hit the Yankees talk with Billy Pinckney and Ray Negron. I give an update on the status of this show at episode 20!
