To become a vet, we have always focused on how to be the best, and nothing less...Well.... the truth is, it takes a damn village, and it is so easy to forget your wins when you are failing to solve a current problem. Its been almost 3 months of hosting a podcast, righr or wrong, so we figured we'd share a little of who we are. Erika and I LOVE being veterinarians.... but how did we get here?We both came from some non-traditional pathways, so here is our story of getting there!

Externships provide education opportunities to students... and vets, especially when a DeepWater Horizon level spill (Blood Spill) occurs...

A 50 50 split between work and personal time is a heaping pile of BULL SHIT... At least for Erika and I. We are far from mastering a work-life harmony, but we try.... a few cold beers don't hurt either (bonus if you can count the number of beers we cracked during this episode)

Erika and I do our best to navigate the shit show that is our lives as bovine veterinarians. Throough shear will and copious amounts of diet coke, we can now laugh at these stores.... Part 1.
