    When God Feels Distant

Scripture tells us that God never leaves us, but what happens when he feels far? What do we do in seasons where God feels silent or seasons where we question a God at all? Dealing with OCD and chronic anxiety has taken over my brain and caused immense suffering. When God feels silent, we must remember that he has a greater plan. Always remember, everybody is a somebody!❤️

  2. 45

Your Anxiety is lying to you

Social anxiety, chronic self doubt, and fear are extremely prevalent in our world today. People are plagued by lies they have believed for years about themselves, others, and the world. There is another way: freedom in Christ. The enemies grip loosens once we start taking action to the contrary: doing the hard things even when anxiety is raging. God is rooting for you and so am I!Always remember, everybody is a somebody!❤️

  3. 44

    What’s On My Mind

Remember, everybody is a somebody!!! ❤️

  4. 43

Stop Outsourcing Your Worth To Other People

You are worthy because God says that you are worthy and outsourcing your worth to other people (aka living for the approval of other people) will lead you further away from God and further away from the freedom that God offers. The Lord has set us free so that we can glorify him with the gifts he has given us. Don't allow your worth to constantly fluctuate based upon the perceived opinions of others! Happy Decemeber!!! Remember everybody is a somebody!!

  5. 42

    The Importance of Ambivalence

What even is ambivalence? Ambivalence is the allowing and holding space for two contradicting statements to be true at once. As a former black and white thinker and someone who loved to try to get to the bottom of things, ambivalence was foreign and near impossible for me until I realized its necessity. Life is nuanced and people are contradictory and ambivalence is freedom from trying to hold onto and control your life. Let go and Let God!

  6. 41

Would Jesus say that to you? Eradicate the Negative Voice in your Head

Fight back against the lies of self-doubt and shame by replacing them with the truth of who God says you are. Don't team up with the enemy who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. You are the apple of God's eye. Fight back to the negative voice in your head. Remember, everybody is a somebody!!🤍

  7. 40

    Fear is Holding You Back

Fear of failure. Fear of success. Fear of others opinions. Fear of being judged. Fear holds you back in every facet of life. Do not be afraid. Remember everybody is a somebody!!!

  8. 39

    Power of Kindness

You never know the impact you make on someone else: whether big or small. We are constantly surrounded by people and we can impact others in a positive way. Just as strangers, friends, and relationships have impacted us, we can make a diligent effort to impact others people’s lives in a positive way. Remember everybody is a somebody!

  9. 38

    Healing isn’t always pretty

The healing journey isn’t always easy or isn’t always on the up and up. Healing is hard. Radical acceptance, letting yourself be seen, and giving yourself grace are the secret weapons of healing. Be kind to yourself, you deserve it!!!Remember everybody is a somebody! Love ya❤️

  10. 37

Progress over Perfection: Growing without Pressure

Perfectionism halts any progress. All or nothing thinking ruins small and incremental gains. 3/7 days out of the week is a win. Shoot for progress and not perfection and give yourself grace in the process. Remember everybody is a somebody!!!

  11. 36

Gratitude: Choose it and Live it

What are you grateful for? What makes you happy? What do you thank the Lord for? Gratitude can be looked at sometimes as a an overly optimistic or positive way to look at a negative world. I challenge you to think about how living with a grateful heart can help you change how you see the world. Look for the good. Thank God for the good. Seek the good. Remember Everybody is a Somebody!!that includes you: be kind to yourself :)

  12. 35

Forgiveness: The most challenging and freeing part of Healing

Forgiveness is extremely challenging and grudge holding can be much easier, but for true healing to occur we must forgive. Forgiving takes the burden off of your shoulder and doesn’t allow another person to take up so much of your mind space and time. Forgiveness doesn’t mean allowing a toxic person to continue hurting you or putting yourself in situations with a dangerous individual. "Holding onto anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned”Remember everybody is a somebody!!!

  13. 34

Let's Talk: Feeling Sad and Unmotivated

Let's dive into moments in life where we feel overwhelmed by sadness and a lack of motivation. Come listen as I discusss some of the ways I combat these emotions with practical steps and guidance. Don't let emotions dictate the way you see and feel about yourself. Remember Everybody is a Somebody! Love y'all!!!

  14. 33

Let’s Talk: Social Anxiety and People Pleasing

Do you say yes when your brain screams at you to say no? Do you say no out of fear of rejection or embarrassment when all you want to do is say yes? People Pleasing and Social Anxiety halt our lives in so many ways. Explore in this episode how social anxiety keeps you trapped being a person that you see as inauthentic, people pleasing leads to forgetting who you are, and ways to break free of the chains associated with both of these negative behaviors, mindsets, and ways of living. Remember, everybody is a somebody!

  15. 32

Identity rooted in Christ is unshakeable

What do you put your identity in? What’s the first thing you talk about when describing yourself to people? The only lasting identity is an identity rooted in Jesus. You don’t need to “find yourself”, you need to seek out the one who created you. God wants to know you intimately and personally and loves you more than you can imagine. Abide in him always! Remember, everybody is a somebody!

  16. 31

God is with you through your struggles

God loves you more than you know. During a struggling season in my life, I wanted to share how I was feeling and what subs kept me from keeping my eyes fixed on Jesus! God wants all of your life and not just the parts that you are willing to give. Remember, everybody is a somebody!

  17. 30

You are not behind; You are exactly where God wants you to be

Life is a turbulent experience and so much of the time we can feel as if we are falling behind peers, friends, and social media influencers. This is a reminder that you are exactly where you need to be for a reason and for a purpose. Each season God places you in is for his glory. Don’t compare yourself to others and remember to be rooted in the present moment learning from the past and planning for the future. Don’t make your mind your worst enemy. Remember everybody is a somebody!

  18. 29

What I’m leaving behind in 2024; Enriching habits to bring with me into 2025

2025 is right around around the corner and the best time to start cultivating new habits is now. Starting anything is scary and sometimes we don’t know where to start. Shredding off any bad habits and negative thoughts can be a wonderful way to start the process of becoming the person God created you to be. Remember, everyday is a somebody!

  19. 28

Friendship: How to identify true and authentic friends

Friendship in this day and time can be challenging, to say the least. True and authentic friends are a blessing and hard to come by. Be the friend that you wish to have and be able to spot characteristics you like and value in a friend. Your friends go through life with you, so make sure you love who you surround yourself with!Remember, everybody is a somebody : )

  20. 27

    Following Jesus is Transformative

Jesus + Nothing = Everything. Even though this was recorded in July, I share every sentiment today. The way is Jesus and knowing him isn’t just life altering but is completely life transformative. He is the Savior and is also a friend. Turning to the Lord is the best decision I have ever made and I will continue to follow him for the rest of my life. Listen while I discuss deepening my faith, staying rooted in truth, and dissecting my WHY of following God. Jesus loves you. Remember everybody is a somebody!

  21. 26

Taking Hold of your Negative Thoughts

Negative thoughts and thought loops plague us from being and becoming everything that God has created us to be. Choosing to be grateful and deciding to think about what is good, true, pure, holy is a mindset and is possible as all things are possible with God. Don’t let the enemy tear you down and take you away from the calling God has on your life. Remember everybody is a somebody!

  22. 25
