T_Visionarium at UNSW, Sydney
The iCinema centre at UNSW, Sydney, is currently hosting a work with an aesthetic similar to Blake's space. In contrast to conventional cinema, where viewers passively watch a singular linear story unfold on a flat screen, iCinema’s T_Visionarium allows viewers to explore and edit a multitude of stories, in three dimensions, on a 360-degree fully surrounding screen. We should have probably redone this after slashing elements like the dogs with visors for eyes and a bunch of action stuff. But I encountered enough resistance from the live action crew to simply follow the boards as it was. Things haven't changed tooo much...

Re-mixable film evolution
Video shown at Portobello Film Festival to illustrate how the re-mixable film idea evolved from combining web3D, VJ and film post production techniques. I grabbed some 3D worlds off the net to illustrate how Sanctuary virtual camera data can be re-mixed.

Matchmoving at last
I've spent the last couple of days clawing my way into Maya 8.5. It's not what you would call an easy piece of software but I'm starting to feel like I have some understanding of what's going on. It felt like a real milestone to render out the matchmove camera for scene ds_115_e and comp it into Shake. http://thequality.com/flics/10weeks/blog/archives/002594.html#002594
