    Grace Doctrine

Do you struggle with reading and understanding your Bible? You don't have to rely on someone with a seminary degree or a pastor to teach you how to understand your Bible. We get Christianity confused when we rely on an elite group to teach us Bible doctrine. Theologians go to great lengths to come up with how to teach the Bible. I think Grace doctrine makes the Bible so simple. And I would love to share it with you.

  16. 30

    Grace Doctrine

The law and grace are very different and hard to understand. If you try to mix them together it can be confusing. But if you separate them, it makes more sense. The Biblical law commands obedience and control. Grace is freedom. Under grace you can do whatever you want. All things are allowed under grace but all things are not good for you. You shouldn't hurt others or yourself.

  17. 29

    Grace Doctrine

Do you have a hard time understanding Bible theology? What if I told you that you do not need a seminary degree to be able to understand your Bible and theology. This framework has been instrumental in helping me understand Bible doctrines and theology and I want to share it with you.

  18. 28

    Gospel of Grace part 2

Is there more than one church in the Bible? What church do you identify with? Definitions of words matter. Understanding certain terms in the Bible can help us learn how to apply Bible verses.

  19. 27

    Gospel of Grace

This is the gospel for the Body of Christ. This good news that was taught to Paul by Christ was a mystery program that God had hidden since the world began. No one knew about this information. If the fallen angels and Satan had known that Jesus was going die on a cross, reconciling the whole world, they never would have let that happen.

  20. 26

    Gospel of the Kingdom

There are two main gospels in the Bible, The Gospel of the Kingdom and The Gospel of Grace. Understanding the differences in these gospels will help you understand the Bible and apply it to your life.

  21. 25

    Different Gospels

Gospel means "good news". God gives lots of good news in the Bible. He gives different good news to different people. Hebrews 1:1

  22. 24

    Peter & Paul

Peter and Paul are very prominent Apostles in the New Testament. There is a lot of confusion and differences in what they teach. Understanding their differences can be key to understanding the Bible.

  23. 23

    Religions

What denomination in Christianity are you? All denominations come from Bible theology or interpretations of certain verses in the Bible. Do you know where you get your Christian theology? The theology you believe has a huge impact on the way you live and the decisions you make.

  24. 22

    I'm Back!

It's been over four years since I did and episode. I'm back and ready to talk religion and theology.

  25. 21

    29. Divisions in the Bible

The biggest division noted in the Bible has always been between Malachi and Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John. Every Bible has the page that separates the Old Testament from the New Testament. But is that the only division?

  26. 20

    28. What can we be sure of today?

I think there are some things about God and the Bible that we can be absolutely sure of today. These things can bring us comfort in hard times.

  27. 19

    27. Where do you fit in the story of grace?

The Bible is progressive, like any other book. It tells a story. The story of humanity. Where do you fit in the story? Are you trying to trick God into putting you into part of the story you don’t belong?

  28. 18

    26. Tithing

How do we give our time and money? Should we tithe or give cheerfully? Abraham and the prophets talk about tithing. Paul talks about giving cheerfully. Is tithing the same as cheerfully giving?

  29. 17

    25. What doth it profit?

What do you believe? What does your faith profit you? We all have core beliefs even if we have no idea what they are. Our beliefs are instilled in us from the time we are born, from our family, education system, friends, churches, culture, etc. These beliefs drive our actions. If we can understand what our core beliefs are, then we can see why we do what we do. And when we begin to see why we do what we do, then we can choose to change our beliefs. Grace allows us a seat at the table.

  30. 16

    24. Frequency illusion

Does every Christian get what they pray for? Why don’t we always get what we pray for? What is the purpose of prayer?

  31. 15

    23. Silence

Is it godly to be silent? Who has the authority to speak and who should be silent? Should women be silent? What does it mean to be silent? Silence is not the absence of words. Silence is listening. Silence is born out of humility.

  32. 14

    22. Common Union

Unity is not conformity but it has a common goal. We can all work together toward a common purpose. You are worthy and valuable. We might not agree on all aspects but we can listen and grow and live peaceably.

  33. 13

    21. Peace

How are you? Are you ok? What does it look like to have peace in our lives?

  34. 12

    20. Resilience

Studies have shown that happy and successful people are resilient. The most common trait among successful people is resilience. Our experiences can lead us to resilience and all experiences can be used for good.

  35. 11

    19. Boundaries

Boundaries are set by what we are comfortable with and what makes us feel loved. We set our own boundaries. Boundaries define who we are and not who other people want us to be. Only we can define our own boundaries.

  36. 10

    18. Trust

We all have a deep need for love and belonging. Relationships fulfill these needs. In order for love to last and feel true belonging, it requires trust.

  37. 9

    17. Love part 2

What is godly love? How does God find pleasure in sinners and abhor evil? Is God’s love unconditional?

  38. 8

    16. Love part 1

Love is finding pleasure in something. God gives us free will to find pleasure in things and the choices we make are based on what will bring us pleasure. What do you choose? What brings you pleasure?

  39. 7

    15. Consequences

There are no longer consequences of our sin with God. No amount of sin can cause you to lose God’s grace. You might lose friends or you might lose respect and integrity but you will never lose your place with God. Losing friends and integrity can be pretty devastating.

  40. 6

    14. Miracles part 2

If God isn’t blessing us physically today, maybe we should be blessing each other.

  41. 5

    13. Miracles part 1

Why I’ve decided not to pray for miracles anymore. How can I say this? Why would I say this?

  42. 4

    12. Good behavior part 2

Does God reward good behavior? Becoming a Christian doesn’t fix the consequences in our life and it also doesn’t give us a recipe for rewards or blessings.

  43. 3

    11. Good behavior part 1

God is not asking you to clean up your life. Perfection is not the goal. Pretending to be sinless will not save you. Grace saves you. Grace teaches us love.

  44. 2

    10. Pain and suffering

Becoming a Christian does not protect you from pain and suffering. You will still suffer pain in this world but we can know something that will give us peace. God’s grace is sufficient to comfort us during suffering.

  45. 1

    9. God’s wrath

God’s wrath vs consequences. Is god punishing people on earth today? Do parents punish or chastise their grown adult children? We are no longer children in God’s eyes. In the body of Christ, we are God’s children but we are fully grown adult sons of God.

  46. 0

    8. God’s will

What is God’s will? Do you know God’s will for your life? Can you know God’s will? God’s will is the same as his plan and purpose for you.

  47. -1

    7. God’s plan for your life

As Christians we want to find God’s plan and purpose for our life. We want to live according to God’s best for us. How can we know God’s plan for our life? Does God have a personal individual plan for our life?

  48. -2

    6. Defining grace part 2

Gods sovereignty and predestination influences our definition of grace. It is one of our core theologies of Christianity that affects how we live. It is the lens through which we interpret grace. What if there is a different way of defining gods sovereignty and predestination.

  49. -3

    5. Defining grace

Grace seals us into the Body of Christ and religion unseals us. Can a saved person get unsealed? Maybe we need to question our definition of salvation. We must continue to question and be very careful how we interpret the Bible because it affects our thoughts and actions.

  50. -4

    4. Living free under grace part 2

Words matter. Our definition of words influences our interpretation of the Bible and creates our theology. Theology is the systematic study and development of religious beliefs. Theology has a great impact on how we live our life. How do you define good works or good fruit? What does the Christian life look like? Are we commanded to live a sinless life or to be free?
